Until recently, the biggest thing going for Hillary is that she has appeared "inevitable." This is no accident. Mrs. Clinton may not be as naturally gifted as her husband, but she does have access to his playbook. One of Bill's more brilliant strategies when he ran in 1992 was to campaign as if he were already the nominee. It gave an otherwise little-known governor the legitimacy to sideline his opponents.

Her temperament and approach to others is more characteristic of Richard Nixon than that of her husband.

Nepotism has not been used by any of the primary opponents but I hope, if she is indeed the candidate, that this is an issue used by Republicans. This woman married a successful politician and has gloried in his success such that she now stands on the threshold of being President with no real experience in running anything other than the cover-ups of her husband's many sins.

I’ve heard too that when running for the Senate, she gave speeches full of this, such as “the children are our future”. Does anyone not want us to take care of the children? Who can disagree with helping the children? Of course we all have different ideas of how to help the children. By not being specific, Hillary or any politician hopes to get enough people to agree with her generalities to get elected.

I love the free spirited exchange of ideas we see on sites such as this one. Hope it doesn’t all come to an end with the “fairness doctrine” if Hill is elected. With Hillary as president and a Democrat congress, look for censorship of talk radio and even the internet to become a priority.
