That part simply isn't accurate. The 'magic bullet' took out a chunk of rib and shattered a bone in the Governor's arm. (And that would have been after it went through Kennedy.) It was found in almost pristine condition on the stretcher.

He mentioned Trans Texas Airline AKA (Tree Top Airline) so it was Hobby but Even though I flew out of Hobby in the fifties and sixties, I do not remember any international flights.
To fly international, we had to fly out of Miami during that time.

Never lived there and just an infant when the Kennedy assassination took place, but the airport and hotel portion of this statement fits. Hoobby Airport was called Houston International at that time and by current Google Maps data the Shamrock hotel location was about 22 minutes away.

I'm not informed enough to believe the conspiracy stories one way or the other, but it seems clear that the mafia had plenty of motivation.
Which goes to show that there are a few ‘Perry Masons’ left who must think for themselves, not accept what they’re told! :^)

I was at least 1 hour from the Shamrock in that time period because of the narrow high traffic roads.
