Iran says US presence in the region is coming to an end, following the failure of White House's wrong policies in the Middle East.
"Washington is trying to inflate tension in the region," Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in a press conference in Bahrain on Saturday.
When asked about the prospect of a US military attack against Iran over its nuclear program, he said there 'will not be a new war in the region.'
He added, however, that any threat by enemies will be followed by an appropriate response by the Islamic Republic.
The Iranian Chief Execute affirmed there is no cause for concerns over a potential crisis in the Persian Gulf region.
President Ahmadinejad concluded by urging the littoral Muslim countries of the Persian Gulf to remain vigilant to counter the enemies' threats.
Ahmadinejad is scheduled to leave Bahrain later Saturday to attend the third OPEC summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This guy is begging the US to destroy a good part of his country’s infrastructure and military.
Does he really think an all-out shooting war with the U.S. will bring about this 12 imam? Or is there something even more sinister at work here?
IF we are going to do this, it needs to happen soon, it needs to happen FAST (so the Strait of Hormuz says open), and it needs to happen with such violence that the rest of the islamic crap holes will get the message.
I’m in favor of hitting Iran, but if the U.S. goes about this half-assed, it will cause more trouble than good (think $8-12/gal. gas).
No military undertaking is risk free.
Every day this moron steals oxygen from the planet is one day more than he should be doing so.
