I DON'T WANT A FIRE IN THE BELLY!!
So what if Fred Thompson isn't every where at every moment.
Who cares that being the US President hasn't been his lifelong dream?
So he isn't doing back flips or some other idiotic stunt to get attention.
Where has that gotten us before?
Well.... Bill Clinton has the fire since he was a little boy. We all know how that turned out.
Saddam, Chavez, Quadafy, and even Hitler were brimming with Belly Fire.
I want a man who will keep my country safe, who will have a responsible stewardship of the economy, and protect the Constitution and States Rights.
I want a Statesman. I want a leader. I don't want someone who has to be all things to all people.
We all know the fable of the tortoise and the hare. Well I want a tortoise. I want slow and steady.
I don't want Las Vegas in the White House. We had enough of that garbage in the 90s. Give me a man who stands by his word and can stand up to Nasty Nancy and Harry Reid and the rest of the nutjobs who think that they can run a war better than the generals.
Ok, that's enough for now. I am not a good writer and not very eloquent but I think that I have common sense.
That’s IT!!! Vote for a good night’s sleep. ;-)
I was for Sen. Thompson, but ....
Spot on, Rita, spot on!!!
Harrumph! Harrumph! Harrumph!
Rita - Tell us about Orson Welles. What was he really like?
A fire in the belly has always given me heartburn.
I DON’T WANT A FIRE IN THE BELLY!!
Well said. Fred is a statesman and a leader. IMHO, he is the right man, in the right place, at the right time.
What’s that phrase?
I wouldn’t pee in her mouth if her belly was on fire.
(I cleaned it up and changed it a bit to fit the Hildabeast)...
Then stay away from spicy foods!
Fred conintues to drop in the polls...he better get a fire in something.
Some men are born into greatness, and some have it thrust upon them.
-Theodore Roosevelt
” I think that I have common sense.”
Yes you do!
The people who want power are the people you need to be afraid of and prevent from taking office (aka Hilary).
Hm... fire in the belly... isn’t that what Pepto Bismol is for?
You might try AcipHex which has worked well for me.
I like Fred, hope he is the one, but more important to us is that we don’t sabotage who ever the Republican candidate ends up being by NOT VOTING, VOTING THIRD PARTY or VOTING DEMOCRAT. All of that gets us Hillary.
At a time when any Republican will get us two more conservative judges and a more conservative social agenda, we do NOT need conservative sabotage of the election by way of not voting or voting third party black holes.
We have Hillary who will give us liberal judges, liberal social plans, liberal socialized medicine, and a cut and run global political strategy.
On the other side we have WHOEVER the Republican will be.
Over Hillary, ANY REPUBLICAN.
Those not voting for the Republican in the main election will help Hillary, and after the main election should be the LAST people complaining IMO on FR if they helped get a Democrat elected.
So though we hope for the best and I do like Fred, we have to unite for the main election this time.
Before the Christian conservatives did not back Ford for being pro-choice, which gave us the worst President of all time Carter.
Sometimes we have to realize the whole agenda can not be filled every election.
To force the whole effort to go backwards in the hands of political Democrat enemies because of a single issue does NOT serve conservatism. It is a wonderful lesson though in immaturity and stupidity.
Let’s wish the process the best, then combine to beat the Hildabeast!
Don’t discount your writing ability. Good job.
