Good morning and may God bless every veteran who has served honorably this morning.

So let’s see what we have this morning.

On FNS, we have Bill Richardson— formerly a relatively hawkish Democrat who declared the border an emergency in 2005; now as a Democrat candidate he is pandering to illegal aliens and those of his fellow Hispanics who are sympathetic. Such a flip-flop would make John Kerry blush. My best guess is that he’s angling for Hillary’s VP, which he could well get. And then we have McCain... again. No need for an explanation, he’s a regular.

MTP is giving a full hour to Barack Obama; it’ll be interesting to see whether or not he gets the enemy treatment or rock star status. The MSM is divided over Obama, and although Russert is probably a Hillary supporter, don’t be surprised if the “higher-ups” say to take it easy.

FTN has one Republican (more like a Southern Democrat) candidate in Huckabee, who’s making a lot of appearances on these shows as of late (I guess it’s cheap advertising, considering his campaign is low on funds). In addition they have another Republican candidate (more like Libertarian/Constitutionalist/Truther and white nationalist sympathizer) in Ron Paul. Basically two half-Republicans makes one whole to them, plus it gets people like Hillary-launched Media Matters to say “CBS has a conservative bias! See! They had two Republicans on there!” Since I pretty much have FTN posting duties on this site, I get to suffer through that raving lunatic. I mean, the gold standard... come on people!

TW has Condoleezza Rice, who almost never gets a good treatment here. Be sure they WON’T acknowledge the fact that there have been at least two reports this past week where there has been no violent deaths in Iraq. And then we have Chris Dodd. He’s so insignificant it doesn’t really matter anyway.

Ratings coming up.

Good morning, FRiends and Happy Veterans Days to all who served!!!

A few comments from my Fox & Friends viewing this weekend...

Hosts Greg Kelly and Kelly Wright were honored for their service...Greg is a Marine, Kelly was in the Army. Thanks, guys!

From yesterday’s show:

The Friends discuss Questiongate concluding that this story was indeed important because it reinforced the idea that Mrs. Clinton is “deceptive.” (thought that was daring)

Later in the show...Dem (Jenny) and Repub (Angela) strategists debate Questiongate and Mrs. Clinton’s honesty. The Dem thinks it was overblown, of course. “Hillary Clinton can take as many tough questions that are thrown at her...” (Ha!) Greg Kelly brings up FEMA’s fake presser. The Repub says, “Hillary will do anything to win this election...her trust numbers are down. Even her own aides don’t have faith in her to answer questions.”

"Is Hillary willing to do anything to be president?" asks Greg. Jenny says, "It's no problem because Hillary is beating all the Repubs...people want a TOUGH president and her campaign is tight." She then goes on to talk about the fireworks that night in Iowa. (who cares)

Greg brings up W's town hall meetings with prescreened guests. Angela says that he's the President, of course he chooses guests, and anyway, he's not running now. She mentions that Edwards and Richardson don't do it.

Finally, Greg asks if Bubba is a liability. Dem chick says, no, and something like, "but he's not used to all these media people asking questions all the time." (huh?)

Today’s discussion on Questiongate featured Ellen Ratner and Jim Pinkerton. Ellen immediately launched into the FEMA presser and Armstrong Williams; Kelly cut her right off saying that Bush wasn’t running and turned to Jim. Jim says that her handlers have to protect her because “by herself speaking in the raw, she’s no good.” Ellen says they should let her loose. Jim brings up her Tammy Wynette speech which he thinks was disastrous. Ellen says, “That’s your fantasy…I thought it was good!”

They then turn to the Kerik investigation. Ellen says that Rudy should help his legal defense; Jim brings up the fact that both Senators Clinton and Schumer endorsed Kerik.

In other news, Bono gushes over Queen Bee Pelosi, saying that for her he will put on a tie. I missed Carl Cameron's report from Iowa but heard that the Breck Girl intends on going after Mrs. Clinton even more. However when speaking to the Beltway Boys, he said that this tactic is hurting him because Iowans don’t dig negative.

MTP

Russert has a fixation on the War in Iraq.

Last week, he spent nearly 20 minutes of Thompson’s interview on Iraq.

Now, he is questioning Obama on his positions on Iraq going back to 2002 — before Obama was in the Senate.

MTP

General Obama says he can get the troops out of Iraq in 16 months. Two brigades out almost immediately.

He is going to leave up to the commanders on the ground the number who will need to remain to fight al-Qaeda, however.

Now he is hedging — has to leave enough to protect the embassy and other ‘US’ interests in Iraq.

[Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down. Obama is woobling like a Weeble.]

Military must have influence to make sure Iran doesn’t interfere in Iraq.

[Russert has spend 10+ minutes, so far, on Iraq.]

Mark Kilmer has posted his review of the Sunday shows over at RedState.com. Here's the lead in and a link for the full thing:

The Sunday Morning Talk Shows - The Review

By Mark Kilmer

Sunday, November 11, 2007

On FNS, Democrat Presidential hopeful Bill Richardson demanded that the United States cut off all aid to Pakistan. Richardson based the necessity for his Iraq "plan" – run away – on the words of retired General Ricardo Sanchez. When host Chris Wallace pointed out that Sanchez had been removed from Iraq in June of 2004 following the Abu Ghraib incident, Richardson proclaimed that Sanchez had been "on the ground" and thus would know that the surge had failed.

Later on FNS, Republican Presidential hopeful John McCain stated that he is the only Republican frontrunner with any foreign policy experience. McCain also offered, as a matter of fact: "I will win New Hampshire."

When asked about his inexperience by host Tim Russert on NBC's Meet the Press, Dem Presidential hopeful Barack Obama proclaimed: "There is no real training for the Presidency than the Presidency." I assume Hillary agrees.

On ABC's This Week, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice had some kind things to say about Pakistani President/dictator Pervez Musharraf, all the while clarifying that the United States supports democratic principles in Pakistan rather than Musharraf, whom she had described as the democratic principal.

Also on TW, Chris Dodd whined and griped.

On CBS' Face the Nation, GOP Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee, when asked by host Bob Schieffer if he would run as Rudy's veep, answered that he hopes to do well enough in Iowa and New Hampshire to take the nomination.

Next on FTN, GOP Presidential hopeful Ron Paul said that his giant fundraising day of last week was orchestrated by someone he's never met, not his campaign. He said it is all about the power of the message, not about him. As for his chances of winning the nomination, Ron Paul said that he knows it's not likely, but his name is on the ballot and his supporters do not believe that it is not possible.

On LE, Dem Presidential hopeful Joe Biden talked of his recent telephone conversation with Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf and dismissed Rudy Giuliani as something of a flake.

I love this: "Also on TW, Chris Dodd whined and griped."  That pretty much sums that up!
