My guess is the B1 would actually be configured for the 30k bunker buster much quicker than the B2 will be, but the B2 has a higher likelihood of making a successful engagement on the Iranian nuke targets.

When the actual strike occurs, it will probably be a joint effort. Meaning follow-up bombing work within minutes of the initial strikes, with the initial strikes also taking down key air defense positions.

I think it will happen, and it will be a defining moment in this WOT, in this era of geo-strategic politics, and hopefully the world will cool down for a while again.

The resolve of POTUS Bush, and the advanced military technology of the USA in stealth targeting and weapon effectivity, will leave Iran's ImaNutJob with a totally wrecked underground nuke facility and no or little collateral damage to innocents. I do not have the inlook to the internal dynamics of this administration.

But as I see it, by far the greatest danger we have faced is the WOT from state based Islamoterrorfascists who do or may have access to WMD, including nukes.

When the strike on the Iranian nuke project happens, and I think it will before Bush leaves office (or it may never happen) is that Iran and its ImaNutJob will be sufficiently isolated from the world that nothing more will happen except some hand wringing and wailing at the UN.
