At least eight members of an armed criminal group have been killed in a police action, Interior Ministry spokesman Ivo Kotevski told the MIA state news agency. He said no police officers were injured and confirmed special forces were still in the area.
Locals from the village of Brodec, a Šar Mountain village north of Tetovo, have confirmed a shooutout between police and armed groups in the village.
A spokesman for NATO peacekeepers in neighbouring Kosovo told a news conference a helicopter had crashed but there was no information on casualties. Macedonian police denied that report. "There is no helicopter down on the Macedonian side," spokesman Ivo Kotevski told Reuters.
Local media reported that police are searching for Lirim Jakupi (also known as "Nazi"), a convicted criminal who escaped with seven other men in a violent break-out from Kosovo`s Dubrava Prison in August and is believed to be hiding in the area. Last week Xhavid Morina, another escaped convict from Dubrava Prison, was found dead near Odri, a village close to Tetovo. Also, in October, a Macedonian policeman was killed in an ambush near the border with Kosovo and Croatian TV aired a video showing Albanian militants threatening actions in Kosovo.
Several media reported that KFOR has closed the border towards Macedonia, in the part of Kosovo, due to the police operation at Šar Mountain. KFOR troops are heavily armed and ready to shoot in case of "conflict spillover at Kosovo territory", media report.
The operation was announced over at 14:00 local time.
The clashes took place in the part of Macedonia which saw bitter ethnic clashes in 2001.
The Macedonian police are cleaning up all the criminals coddled by KFOR/NATO, the UN and general international community in Kosovo.
The Balkans was KKKlinton’s Wars of Choice and while our military was protecting Muslim Terrorists in Europe.

So...now we have “insurgents”, “youth rioters”, “terrorists”, “traffikers”, “freedom fighters”, plotters” and no doubt more in our neverending euphamisms for “jihadists”. We’ll be sending manned spaceships to Uranus and Neptune before we see any media outlet even calling islamic terrorists properly as jihadists.
Uh, the problem is in Kosovo. KFOR wanted in Macedonia in an attempt to prevent the "spillover" from ENTERING Macedonia, not the other way! (And I recall the unhappiness at border aginst the UN troops)

Kosovo Liberation Army took responsibility for Sar Mountain conflict

Belgrade. The organization which calls itself Kosovo Liberation Army /KLA/
took the responsibility for the conflict with the members of the Macedonian
special police forces, Serbian electronic edition Blic informs referring to
the Albanian Kohan Ditore. In the release to the media this organization
points out that they were forced to organize themselves into a regular
military unit in order to protect the Albanian people and its territory.
Yesterday’s conflict in the region of Tetovo was said to be “protection of
national dignity’ and the Macedonian police campaign - attack of the
Macedonian - Slav authorities against the Albanian people. It is underlined
that there would be no peace on the Balkans if the principles from the
Bujanska Conference from December 31, 1943 were not put in practice.
The only reference we could find on "The Bujanska Conference" was in Serbian and a friend did a quick & rough translation for me, and it boil down to this:
In 1941 Kosovo became a part of the fascist protectorate of Albania. During the fascist occupation of Kosovo and Metohija around 20,000 Serbs were killed and 100,000 expelled. At the same time the Albanian fascists brought to Kosovo circa 150,000 Albanians from Albania. The Bujanovska Conference then decided to combine Kosovo-Metohija into one entity which would cover ALL ethnic territories where Albanians lived in Yugoslavia and join them to Albania.
In other words, the Shiptar muslim terrorists say that there can be no peace in the Balkans unless a Nazi territorial diktat is restored. Am I wrong in my interpretation?

And it also says that "there can be no peace until every surrounding country accepts that wherever an Albanian lives, the land automatically becomes part of Albania.
Well it’s gratifying to know that the FYROMIANS are doing their bit for humanity by eliminating these criminals...but they need to give it up on the name thingy...and resolve thie differences with their fellow Greek Oorthodox cousins in Greece over the name of their Tito created state.

As for your comment about the Balkans...I respectfully disagree as to it being a “second rate region”..but I belive that a Confederation of Orthodox Nations would benefit all.

The Maks are essentially Serbs and once they understand it, they will love the Greeks forever! Much like the Bosnian Muslims are essentially Serbs (albeit traitorious cowards), hence the reason for the albs hating the bosnian muslims as well. it is one big gigantic circle jerk!
