Stratford (AP) _ A Halloween display on Main Street in Stratford that featured a man hanging from a noose kicked off protests and complaints and has led the homeowners to change it.
Black leaders and neighbors say the "hanging man" resembled a black man hanging from a noose and a protest march was being planned.
The homeowners initially said they would not succumb to pressure by the community and police to take it down.
But after a meeting Monday with the mayor, police chief and community leaders, the homeowners have agreed to remove the figure from the noose and incorporate it into the Halloween display.
The figure will be sitting on the house steps with a knife through the heart.

And, they were brought in because the homeowners broke WHAT law?
That unwritten law that states you WILL conform to the wishes of the mob.I’ll bet that their house will be vandalized this week just to teach them a lesson.
The noose has become to the political correct what the cross is to a vampire. The mere sight of it causes them to shreek in terror.

What if they were to put a Ku Klux Klan outfit on the figure and then hang it. For good measure, make the face look like the esteemed klansman from W.Va, Robert Byrd.

The little town near me has a bunch of “bodies” made from kid’s Hallowe’en costumes “lynched” on a lot of the porch posts and rafters.
It *looks* like the townsfolk are trying to scare away trick or treaters.
Haven’t heard anybody whining about it yet.

A few years ago, two local people at separate hayride, haunted house type events accidentally hung themselves. There was no, absolutelly no mention of racism in any story.
I'm tired of this "I'm offended, I think it's racist and if you don't think it's racist, you're a racist" hammer being used by people who just want attention. Screw them. They'll burn in hell for trying to pit one group of God's children against another group of God's children.

Nooses are used for quick executions.
