Most likely a few dumbass kids, not involved or interested in politics, probably can't spell "politics." Losers who can't get recognition for doing anything useful, they impress each other by showing how they can push the buttons of people who do.

Cemetery vandalism is usually the work of 2-5 adolescents, rarely a solo act -- what's the point, if there's no one to see your "work" and egg you on?

Just to let you know, we just got back from Liberty. We could not find the graveyard, but we did find the local VFW Hall. We went in and talked to some wonderful people, and explained that we had wanted to put flowers on Lance Cpl. Burris' grave, but couldn't find the graveyard. We decided that in lieu of flowers,we would make a contribution to the VFW in his honor. We were told that the family may establish a scholarship in his name, so we left a note to the Burris family expressing our sorrow and thanking them for raising such a hero, and his death would not be in vain. What an honor and blessing he must have been to them, as he is to us in this country. We asked if they did start a scholarship in his name, please contact us, we would be honored to donate. They took the donation and the note with much thanks and gave us directions to the graveyard, where we proceeded.

BTW, the gravesite has been cleaned up, flowers are around it again. We left a small flag and a large silent prayer for "Godspeed Lance Cpl. Burris from FreeRepublic". One of the men at the VFW told us the police have a few leads but so far no arrest has been made. Pray for justice. Regards, SVITW

My guess is if anyone vandalizes a Marines grave their ass is going to stick out of their grave to be kicked relentlessly. If this same disrespectful moron believes in the afterlife he can count on getting his ass kicked through eternity.
