Randall Terry to Discuss Efforts to Derail Giuliani at Press Conference

"So-called 'pro-life Republicans' that are endorsing Rudy - like TX Governor Rick Perry, or NY Representative Pete Sessions, are typical treacherous politicians. They have betrayed innocent blood to support a child-killer; we can only wonder what 30 pieces of silver' they are seeking." Randall Terry

"Pro-life Republicans are on trial, to see what we value more: life or power; principle or party." Randall Terry

Contact:  Mr. Randal Terry, Operation Rescue XX, 904 687 9806

MEDIA ADVISORY, Oct. 18 /Christian Newswire/ -- Randall Terry, Founder of Operation Rescue, will hold a press conference in Boston, Mass. to discuss efforts to derail a Giuliani Nomination, and a Giuliani Presidency, should Giuliani get the nomination.

When: Friday, October 19, at 11:00 A.M.

Where: Republican Headquarters, 85 Merrimac St., Boston.

What: The duty of pro-life Republicans to defeat Giuliani at all costs.

Mr. Terry is on a ten week, 20 state tour of college campuses, churches, and pro-life groups, recruiting pro-life Republicans to fight against a Giuliani Presidency - even if it means the election of Hillary Clinton.

For radio interviews, here are some of the points Mr. Terry can discuss:

  1. Concerning child-killing itself, Giuliani would appoint judges who will uphold Roe vs. Wade; he has stated he would allow federal funds (taxpayer dollars) to be used to pay for the death of unborn children; he opposed the ban on partial birth abortion; he would make pro-abortion appointments in positions of great power; all of this would result in setting the pro- life movement back 20 years, and severely undermining our goal of restoring the protection of law to unborn babies.
  2. As President Giuliani would be the de-facto head of the GOP; he would systematically destroy the political power of the pro-life movement within the GOP; he would pressure the party to take the pro-life plank out of the party platform; he would declare the "abortion issue" is divisive, and should not be part of federal races; he would make the GOP the mirror image of the DNC regarding child-killing, thus insuring that there is no pro-life party.
  3. An enemy outside your camp makes you vigilant; an enemy in your tent makes you dead. Hillary would unite us, and she could be defeated in 4 years; Giuliani would destroy the cohesion of the right wing.
  4. Could we vote for a man who right on every single issue, except that he was a racist? Or was a candidate who supported slavery? (Of course, he would never own his own slave, but he would defend any other white persons right to own his own Negro.) How then can we in good conscience vote for a man who supports the destruction of innocent human life, which is far worse than slavery or racism?
  5. In 1991, then President George Bush justly destroyed the Louisiana Gubernatorial Candidacy of David Duke, because Duke was a racist. Which is a worse crime against God and man? Racism, or murder?
  6. As horrifying as it seems at first blush, Hillary Clinton would probably be a better president for the Pro- Life movement (and the innocent children we seek to protect) than Rudy Giuliani. The GOP needs to fix its moral compass, before we become the second party supporting the death of the innocent.

The fact that you’re all goo-goo over an article that repeatedly states how much better Hillary Clinton would be is more than just a little disturbing. I’m starting to think we deserve to lose this election because at least half of us have lost our damned minds.

Again, notice the language. Notice the venom spewed at everyone who doesn’t kowtow to the 100% political perfection dogma as decided by the shelf chosen purists.

This sort of ranting may feed the egos of the true believers, it will not win them any support from the vast majority of people.

And those are the people you got to get on your side to win primaries.

Well put. This election will be decided by our nominee. If it's Rudy, we're dead. If it's Mitt, we're probably dead. If it's Fred, we've got a shot.

What is this BS about 100%? Rooty Toots isn’t even 1% conservative.

Uh huh. And during those four years, she could appoint four more Ruth Bader Ginsburgs to the Supreme Court. And don't even try to say filibuster. The Democrats running the Senate would roll right over one.

Perfection is not attainable in politics.

And so could and would Rudy!

Don’t be fooled.

Rudy has stated this year that Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a good judge!

The war against Rooty began a long time ago for me. He has already lost in my mind.

I don’t vote for liberals and open border skunks.

Rudy may or may not do all this -- I suspect he would, at least partially.

But even if he does not, just the precedent of his winning the White House as a pro-abort member of the GOP would be a total disaster for the Pro-Life movement. I guarantee you that at least half of all GOP officeholders who currently give lip service to the Pro-Life cause(eg. Perry, Sessions) would abandon us in a heartbeat if they get the idea in their heads that they can be SUCCESSFUL as GOP politicians without being Pro-Life.

The Pro-Life movement in America would then go the way of the Pro-Life movement in Europe.

“...Rooty Toots isn’t even 1% conservative.”

Rudy is 100% liberal, only worse.

Rudy will not represent conservatives on even half the issues they care about. I visit his website, http://www.joinrudy2008.com/ , and I don’t see any evidence that he’s even running as a Republican. In fact, he would have run as a Democrat if he could, and says so himself:
http://www.knowyourrino.com/Pres08/Giuliani.htm @ 1:27
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVBtPIrEleM @ 1:27

Worried, about a GOP candidate defecting to a third party and messing up the general election? A Democrat just defected to your party and is messing up your PRIMARY election! Furthermore, Rudy would make voting GOP mostly irrelevant in the general election, and possibly multiple elections thereafter.

Why is he worse?
What happens at just about every midterm election?
“Simply put, the party controlling the White House nearly always loses House seats in midterm elections” http://anncoulter.com/cgi-local/article.cgi?article=156
“Republicans have always done best in House elections when an unpopular
Democrat sits in the White House.” http://www.jstor.org/view/00323195/di980453/98p0914k/9

If Hillary the Democrat slips into office because some of us voted third-party, we can predict what’s going to happen: The perennially displeased public will look at the party controlling the presidency and vote the other way, and the democrats will begin to lose congress. But what’s going to happen if we all toe the line just to make sure Rudy the RINO gets into office, and then people vote the other way on his midterm election? That’s right, you’ll get to watch all the worst liberal agenda pass for six and a half more years. And guess which party will pick up the blame for the results of all that?

Rudy would be a Republican disaster, and every time conservative pundits pipe up and say “I will vote for former Mayor Rudy Giuliani over Hillary Clinton!” they only increase confidence in Rudy, promote his campaign, and assure the disaster.

Want to keep talking about minimal-loss strategy? How about this?:
If I were a progressive pro-abortion, pro-gay-marriage, gun-control democrat watching Rudy in the lead and listening to conservative pundits advising their audience to support the GOP no matter what happens, I’d drop everything I was doing and register myself, my family, and all my friends Republican. This would be my big chance to turn this country all the way around. The Democrat party is already in the bag. Should it really matter to me so much to me whether Clinton or Obama wins the primary? On the other hand, if I could help change the course of the GOP, possibly forever…Wow! Both major parties and all three branches of government working in harmony to advance all my favorite progressive pro-abortion, pro-gay-marriage, gun-control agendas!

If Christian conservatives are taking a stand and declaring absolutely no confidence in Rudy, then they are the ones who are doing the right thing, both on values and on strategy.

> Rudy has stated this year that Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a good judge!

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0207/2957.html
“...most of Giuliani’s judicial appointments during his eight years as mayor of New York were hardly in the model of Chief Justice John Roberts or Samuel Alito — much less aggressive conservatives in the mold of Antonin Scalia.”

...of the 75 judges Giuliani appointed to three of New York state’s lower courts found that Democrats outnumbered Republicans by more than 8 to 1. One of his appointments was an officer of the International Association of Lesbian and Gay Judges. Another ruled that the state law banning liquor sales on Sundays was unconstitutional because it was insufficiently secular.
A third, an abortion-rights supporter, later made it to the federal bench in part because New York Sen. Charles E. Schumer, a liberal Democrat, said he liked her ideology.

Cumulatively, Giuilani’s record was enough to win applause from people like Kelli Conlin, the head of NARAL Pro-Choice New York, the state’s leading abortion-rights group. “They were decent, moderate people,” she said.
