Need Pro-Life Group in Huntsville, Alabama Area. (Vanity)

Posted on 10/15/2007 4:36:30 PM PDT by proudofthesouth

I'm looking for a reputable pro-life group in the Huntsville, Alabama area to get involved with.

Some background:

I am former and reformed pro-choice, women's lib, anti-gun, and liberal.

I'm a new Christian (almost 7 months!) and have seen the error of my former beliefs.

I'm NOT a troll and have been a member of FR for at least 10 years now.

I sincerely want to get involved in the pro-life movement in the Huntsville, Alabama area and am wanting recommendations and if possible phone numbers.

TOPICS: Culture/Society; US: Alabama
KEYWORDS: abortion; prolife
Thanks for your help!

Call Westminster Presbyterian Church or Southwood Presbyterian Church and explain what you’re looking for. I am fairly certain WPC can help you.

FWIW, I think it is a good church, too.

I’m checking google to see if anything they have rings a bell. If so, I’ll post it here.

My home church is Westminster Presbyterian there. Charlie Wingard is the pastor. Paul Alexander was the former pastor. We’re overseas now but when we’re back in the states, our allegience is divided between Auburn and Huntsville.

My M.Div was acquired at Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, a Presbyterian seminary.

I grew up in Huntsville, but also lived in Montgomery from 76-80. I love WV, but sometimes I long to go back South. I miss a lot of things, like the smell of Honeysuckle on a hot summer night;real BBQ; people who talk like I do (LOL).

I dream of magnolias, peaches just off the tree, tea olive bushes in bloom,

These are a few of my favorite things...
And then I don't fee..

Oh! Excuse me. I got carried away.
