South Elgin police are investigating a possible hate crime after a racial slur was painted on a work counter and a noose was found hanging from an exit at a Home Depot store under construction, authorities said today.

If this keeps up, Dickie Daley will be moving for Chicago to have the strongest rope control laws in the nation. And that should be no problem, there should be little resistence because unlike firearms the constitution does not protect the bearing of rope.
A noose here and a noose there. I guess hanging a knife or a bullet is too expensive to make a statement.
Nobody should be writing slurs or leaving nooses around, but when you make this stupid stuff a “hate crime” you elevate something really weak into a major problem. If someone is threatened with a noose, as in “this will happen to you” that’s a different story. But turning every grafitti racial slur into a “hate crime” is giving too much attention to some unworthy jerk.
And what's with thise noose business lately? I'll bet it isn't skinheads doing that. That herd is almost extinct.

I used to work for a very PC software company. One day, one of the employees (a supervisor) parked his Toyota 4Runner in the lot and went in to the office.
Some of his underlings then came out, attached a length of chain to the back of the Toyota, ran it along the ground, and then drew a chalk outline of a body with one hand near the end of the chain.
Most everyone who worked there and saw that thought it was pretty funny, but upper management was not amused, of course.
Come on people get with it. It’s obvious that either Hillary Clinton camp or Barak Hussein Obamas camp is stragecially placing these. In their minds this will create a racial divide. You know the kind of thing the Dems pray for every night. Remember a perceived racial divide lets them stir up feelings of poor me. Driving more black votes to the Dems.
The blacks weren't being good neighbors when they bussed them into my high school thirty years ago. Between classes, they would bunch up in large groups in the hallways and smoke cigarettes at the center of the group. They were loud, obnoxious and intimidating to the white students. I doubt if this situation has improved with time.
And no, I don't mean all black students. We had black kids going to my high school all along and everything was fine until they started busing in the inner city crowd in my junior year. The suburban black kids were the first to be targeted as Uncle Toms and for "acting white".
I think it’s mostly teenagers who’ve seen the kind of reactions and attention these incidents get and want to play copy-cat. Add beer to equation and you’ve got your answer.

I agree. A good prank or stunt done right has to be funny and enlightened and secret. Leaving people secretly scratching their ass wondering why they didn't think about doing it. I have military training in this subject. My graduate degree is my Honorable Discharge:) Those were good ones:) I hid in plain sight.

I went to HS in Irvington, N.J. and that happened there too around '72. Parents were out there rioting and getting worked up. While we were smoking pot and sneaking some guy's parent's wine because they weren't home! And another guy's father's beer the next day. That didn't go over very well with his dad. Or mine.
The funny part is the Black kids in a HS in Newark were doing the same thing while their parents were going nuts.
I remember it as wasted kids walking around laughing at the adult entertainment being provided for us. Clothed, of course. I haven't been to NJ since out-processing from McGuire AFB in '86. I won't be coming back. It's gone.
That is what I think is happening. Black-White crime has been decreasing since the last two generations got older. And live around and know each other. This is a plan that 3 stories like this happened in one week.
I have seen this crap in the past. Rush is right. We have to study Saul Alinsky's "Rules For Radicals". Hillary Clinton is a radical. This is of her making. Read it like Patton studied Rommel's book.
Destroy their families, and bring in millions of Mexicans to take all entry level jobs, no problemo. But tell the story of one N word scribbled at a Home Depot construction site, and blacks will turn out in droves to punish whatever "racist" the dems point to. Which will be every republican.

OK, apparently this is becoming the “fad” of the moment, at least in the news if not actions.
I always look askance at alleged “hate crimes” (should be HATRED; when did the verb form become a noun?), not only because they’re specious in principle, but they’re so easily “faked”. Easy to make it seem what it’s not.
Like that black teacher painting “racist” (i.e., white) stuff on walls, and correcting his English in the middle of it.
If we cannot trust the so-called conservatives to stay strong against liberal attacks, as was the case in Texas, this nation's future is grim.
That's the main point. Whites and Blacks are being played against each other. That's old now. Only democrats use the same old tricks over and over. I suspect Mexicans/SA's learned this with coaching. From who? When Islamic radicals use democrat terms in their speeches guess what I think? Blacks and Whites better join together on the same page about this stuff and fast.
That’s pretty good, but the best one I’ve ever seen was when two of my coworkers used a pair of forklifts to surround our zone manager’s car with bundles of landscape timbers.
