Good Lord! I live in a small Pacific Northwest town that used to have Mexicans come in for harvest season, then go home for the winter. But that was 50 years ago.

Now there are so many illegals here, including families, that it looks like small town Mexico.

About half the kids in school are Mexican. We didn’t have teenage gangs here before the Mexicans came in. Period. We certainly do now.

The increasing drive by shootings are done by Mexican gangs. Period. I’m afraid the townspeople, and of course our cowed and put upon law enforcement people also display fear, more by their actions than spoken admission.

If you want to see something funny, go to the tax supported Public Defenders Office on Monday through the rest of the week.

Court is Tuesday mornings.Mostly “oppressed” Mexicans, defended of course by us taxpayers. During one court day a Mexican stabbed the guy who turned him in, which caused quite a scene inside. Now everyone is frisked by electronic wand whenever they go into most public buildings. All this because of unwelcome savages that our government refuses to keep out of our country and in the one they belong to.

We have our local community college giving free radio time to the Mexican “minority.” I’ve been told that a lot of this publically funded broadcasting is for La Raza and MECHA speakers. By the way, these two organizations are strongly supported, and funded, by the same community college.

I’m told the public schools are encouraging the Mexicans to protest and complain about how badly they’re treated. But then we see other documented evidence this is going on nation wide, hence there’s not much surprise there.

And. of course, Hispanics are herding the public school sheep to have bi-lingual classes, prsumbably to preserve the Mexican cultural diversity.

There are state Hispanic social workers and other government functionaries who have helped get their friends and relatives not only out of Mexico, but have steered them expertly onto the govermental teat. The taxpayers are being sucked dry, literally. And they get no pleasure out of that no matter how sensitive and caring we should be.

I’m getting damned tired of it. The trouble is I’ve lived too long and remember when the US was the most respected and admired nation on earth. Period.

Seeing our wussy young folks I’m afraid the past is gone. The only exception of these young folks are the guys and gals who volunteer for the armed forces, much like Pat Tillman did.

Well, even if I’m far from done, I guess it’s time to end this rant.

Brotherhood my ass. Mexicans are acting like the brothers in our most violent, chaotic, and hopeless other ghettos.

So my message to my fellow born here Americans is: Speak free or die.

Friend of mine just got laid off. She was a partime secretary for a *private* tutoring company. She said
others had been previously laid off, then after a time
a new (similar) postion would be created and a hispanic person would be hired. SHe said most of the whites had been
replaced in this fashion.

Guess where
the private, for profit, company gets most of its funding ??

Who do they tutor ? English “learners” . Mostly mexican.

Some families paid for regular tutoring in the usual subjects, but the bulk of the clients were english learners.
Wonder if Mexico has a similar arrangement
for Spanish Learners ???

I share your frustration with this situation, but if we're talking about shooting, by all means save a round or two for the pink-cheeked American bastards living in high-dollar homes who are the real villains.

I agree with all you say except this one line....these "desperate peasants" will virtually never denounce their country of origin... I might have some sympathy if they did...and put the responsibility for their situation where it belongs....but with what I've been seeing and hearing coming from these so-called poor peasants in the past couple of years....I have not one ounce of sympathy left for them.... there is a beer commercial playing on the radio that implies that if you call beer cervesa it is automatically better...what bull...getting real tired of of Spanish being rammed down my throat in so cal too....

I understand why you feel the way you do. All I can say is that I draw a distinction between those "activists" who capitalize on them like in the beer commercial you describe, and the illegals who sneak in. Those people (specifically those people) are uneducated, and I don't know how much to expect from them. They simply may not know better.

What you say reminds me of a Mexican great uncle I had. He fought at Tarawa, and I remember that he told me many times when I was a young boy that he had nothing but contempt for Mexico. I can quote him often saying that he "wouldn't live as a king in Mexico." He had a brother who I never met who was severely wounded at the Remagen Bridge.

With regard to the illegals, please don't get me wrong. I want the problem solved, but I blame corrupt Americans for the problem more than I do those who sneak into the country.

Mexico is a loathsome country and a dedicated enemy of ours. We ignore that fact at our peril. The "chicano power" crap you get thrown in your face all the time down there is still ultimately something that can be laid at the feet of crooked Americans. Trust me. I grew up in El Paso, and I know what you deal with. Just take notice at who's getting rich off it.

I agree with much of what you said, but I think the animosity towards illegal aliens is due to their attitude of entitlement and the animosity is deserved. I just heard a story of an illegal alien who lost his job due to the strict new laws in Arizona. The illegal alien then committed armed robbery. Not only did he not take responsibility for his actions, he blames the new law. Case after case, story after story, we see illegal aliens and their supporters, ‘spitting’ in the faces of our citizens and government, even our flag. Their attitude was made clearly known in the many photos posted here on FR of the very first nationwide protest. Their “you owe us” attitude infuriates Americans.
