Ah, those diversity-loving liberals. You know, the kind who would stifle free speech with their Orwellian "Fairness Doctrine," who threaten legal action against mom-and-pop T-shirt makers who criticize MoveOn.borg. Wesley Clark would now take things one step further, whacking Rush Limbaugh off the Armed Forces Newtwork radio airwaves...

Wesly Clark endorsed Hillary. I give you below (in the first post) the link to the article:

Reuters Sep. 15th, 2007 article where Wes endorses Hillary.

Do some checking and see if Hillary has plans to have Wes as a potential running mate, and if she is going to use him to reach out to some she has alienated in the past.

A very sad and pathetic old joke.

This Wesley Clark?

Transcript of today's show.

RUSH: (laughing) Putting it in perspective. Now, General Clark, let's talk about him just a second here before we go to the break, the mad bomber of Bosnia. Is this the same Wesley Clark who did nothing to try to prevent the mass murder of 800,000 Rwandans? Is this the same Wesley Clark who was in a position to insist the Clinton administration and the United Nations send help to that region to try to stop the mass murder of 800,000 Rwandans? Is this the same Wesley Clark who has never had to answer for his indifference to that genocide, and, worse, in the face of this genocide, in a public investigation, has never had to answer for it? Is this the same Wesley Clark who was once a Republican who supported President Bush but then changed parties so he could run for president and then attack President Bush? Is this the same Wesley Clark who could not muster any popular support for his hilarious run for the presidency?

You see, this is why the mad bomber of Bosnia can't read a transcript or listen to an audio and speak truthfully about them. He's no longer a general. He's just another in a long line of liberal hacks, ladies and gentlemen. Now, General Clark, we all appreciate your service in the military, but what you're doing now has nothing to do with your service. It has to do with your decision to play mud ball with the left. I don't know about you, Mr. Clark, but I go to bed at night with zero problems. How do you sleep, sir? How do you and the rest of the Clinton administration sleep knowing you did nothing about the genocide in Rwanda?

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I'm going to go back, I'm going to stay on the mad bomber of Bosnia for a moment, ladies and gentlemen, and that is General Wesley Clark. Do you remember, Michael Moore called George W. Bush a deserter, and Wesley Clark stood up for Michael Moore's right to say that? This is a NewsMax story, January 22nd, 2004, during General Clark's ill-fated run at the Democratic presidential candidacy. "In a response that could turn out to be General Clark's worst blunder yet..." and that's a tough call, because there were so many of them, "...the presidential hopeful said his supporter, firebrand filmmaker and propagandist Michael Moore, had a right to call President Bush a military deserter." We have the audio sound bite. It was a debate in Manchester, New Hampshire, January 22nd, 2004. Peter Jennings said, "General Clark, this is really a simple question about knowing a man by his friends. The other day you had a rally here, and one of the men who stood up to endorse you, was the controversial filmmaker Michael Moore. You said you were delighted with him. At one point Mr. Moore said in front of you that President Bush, saying that he'd like to see you, the general, President Bush, to be called a deserter. Now, that's a reckless charge not supported by the facts, and I was curious to know why you didn't contradict him and whether or not you think it would have been a better example of ethical behavior to have done so."

I wonder...do the Liberals really think they’re getting one over on people or is just part of their plan to take advantage of the average ignorant American?

Not all lefties are thrilled to associate with the Mad Bomber of Bosnia either. This comes from antiwar.com but they source their material.

At the beginning of the Kosovo conflict, CounterPunch delved into the military career of General Wesley Clark and discovered that his meteoric rise through the ranks derived from the successful manipulation of appearances: faking the results of combat exercises, greasing to superiors and other practices common to the general officer corps. We correctly predicted that the unspinnable realities of a real war would cause him to become unhinged. Given that Clark attempted to bomb the CNN bureau in Belgrade and ordered the British General Michael Jackson to engage Russian troops in combat at the end of the war, we feel events amply vindicated our forecast.

(snip)

This is the guy who received the Kosovo Campaign Medal after having been granted a waiver, although according to an article in Stars and Stripes (European addition), no one seems to know who granted the waiver in time for the general to get the first medal awarded. Even though he led the international alliance in its 78-day blitz against Yugoslavia, the waiver was necessary because General Clark's service did not meet the criteria for the award which required service in the actual theater of operation. It appears that Clark made no effort to secure similar waivers for the thousands of service personnel who supported the effort from bases outside the combat zone.

Just a sample.

The socialists are using every angle to prevent the EXPOSURE OF THEIR REAL AGENDA AND THE TRUTH ABOUT THEM. Rush represents the truth, presents the truth, and the socialists cannot handle the truth because the TRUTH IS THEIR BANE.

Now they are acting like the STALINISTS that they really are. They have lost any sense of what is proper, as evidenced by the behavior on the floor of the Congress where the left used their presence and government power to ATTACK THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS OF A PRIVATE CITIZEN using thier government positions and power. THIS IS STALINISM in miy opinion. A government using its power over the people to intimidate and SUPPRESS THE FREE SPEECH that exposes their lies, their deceit, their fraud, and their REAL AGENDA which is so totally ANTI-AMERICAN, that its exposure is a sure political death for the DemoRats.

Americans need to witness and listen to what these runaway criminals/Stalinists are doing, and using the government power to do it. This is serious and very bad for America.

Is not Wesley Clark a war criminal for helping Muslims kill Christians (SERBS)? He should be in an orange jump suit awaiting trial for sedition or treason. The Albanians helped the Nazi's against the USA and against Jews, whereas the SERBS pushed them back. So he wants Rush Limbaugh off the air? What else does he want? ...the USA to lose the war in Iraq? I really wonder how he got to the rank of General; IMO, he behaves more like a much lower ranked officer or enlisted man. IMO, he is a leftist revolutionary socialist pretending to be a Democrat.

I know I don't have to be to drop them an e-mail but I think it should be left to our service men and women to speak their minds on AFRN content. By no means am I suggesting that others should not contact them that is just my personal view.

Thanks again, that is a great thing to post on FR.

I used that “Dump Rush” thingy and wrote the following instead of their canned message.

Wesley Clark, former General and current left-wing nutcase has decided to attack Mr. Rush Limbaugh under completely bogus circumstances. Apparently, Mr. Clark and other left wingers in this country are completely unable to tell the truth, or to seek it even when it is staring them directly in the face.

Last week, the LEFT decided to attack Rush Limbaugh for a statement he made, which they took out of context and implied he was talking about soldiers who do not support the war in Iraq. This was an out and out lie by the Left in America, and an attempt to divert attention from Hillary Clinton’s shady money collections schemes, and Hsu, as well as the Moveon.Org attacks on General Paetraeus.

These attempts at the “censure” of a PRIVATE citizen are disgraceful and every member of Congress should SHUN them. In fact, every member of the United States Congress would do well to emulate Mr. Limbaugh in his truthfulness - something many members are currently NOT DOING.

Rush Limbaugh’s show is aired on Armed Forces Radio, which is funded by taxpayers’ dollars, and as a former, retired military member, I expect the show to REMAIN on the air for the military. Not only that, I DEMAND that the entire show be run for the military. To cut it to one hour is showing the bias of the Congress to disallow both sides of issues to be heard.

As a member of Congress, you can prevent these types of attacks on Limbaugh and others. STOP THE CENSORSHIP!

Please do NOT Dump Rush From Armed Forces Radio - to question the sincerity of our “phony” MUST be done.

Thank you for your consideration.

Negative. The monies that are used come from public funding dollars doled out by Congress. Those monies come from our taxes, and everyone who believes this nonsense is just nonsense ought to have a say. Non-service member or not.

Rush Limbaugh tells it like it is, and the left doesn’t like it. My question for you is, if you do nothing at all, do you think the outcome will be good?

Furthermore, military members who receive those shows are NOT in positions to constantly write to, nor complain about the services they receive.

Personal point of view here, I was stuck in Egypt for many months during the Iranian Crisis. We had no EMAIL in those days, stamps were few and far between and we were simply happy to be about to get something, anything directed to us. I was in a different situation than most, I was a shortwave listener and had shortwave radios available in the equipment I maintained, so I didn’t get the same news the rest of the guys got.

Don’t sit on your duff and say “It’s someone else’s issue with which to deal”. It’s yours TOO>

Wesley Whackjob....Political opportunist....

He follows the procedure of the convinced left, who took the methodology from the propoganda departments of the state run media of the former USSR.

Step 1. Find something said by a political opponent that can be taken out of context.
Step 2. Twist the remark to be unrecognizable as the original, and promote it as fact. Remember truth didn't matter to the media of the former USSR,either. Power of the "elite" did.
Step 3. Knowing that fully 40% of the American public is either dumb as a brick, or involved with the left for personal gain, enlist your sycopants in the MSM to promote your lie, to multiply the outreach of the lie, and hope it sticks.
Step 4. If people start to question your lie, then enlist the MSM to impune theose who question it as morally lacking and evil. Try to find something in their past which may or may not be relevant to the issue at hand to cause doubts about the person challenging your assessment. If all else fails, make something up.

OK, I couldn’t resist sending an Email to my congressman and sinators.

My email:

Dear Friend,

Last week, Rush Limbaugh labeled American servicemembers who support an end to the war in Iraq “phony soldiers.”

EVIDENTLY THE LEFT WING HATE AMERICA CONSPIRATORS HAVE FORGOTTEN TO READ Limbaugh's TRANSCRIPTS.

Rush Limbaugh’s radio show is aired on Armed Forces Radio, which is funded by taxpayers’ dollars. This money is not intended for radio show hosts to spout insults at our soldiers. These “phony soldiers” have simply exercised their right to free speech, as Rush Limbaugh does on a daily basis.

JUST PLAIN GARBAGE GENERAL CLARK. DO YOU CONSIDER WASH OUT SOILDER JESSIE MCBETH TO BE THE TYPE OF SOLDIER YOU WOULD WANT IN YOUR FOX HOLE DURING A FIREFIGHT. IS JESSIE MCBETH THE EPITOMY OF A LIBERAL SOLDIER?

Congress can prevent Limbaugh from further disrespecting and censoring the voices of our soldiers on the military airwaves.

THIS IS PURE AND SIMPLE CENSORSHIP THAT GENERAL CLAK IS REQUESTING.

Join me and thousands of others - email your member of Congress and demand that they dump Rush from the airwaves of Armed Forces Radio.

I UNDERSTAND THAT RUSH IS THE PREFERED TALK RADIO HOST BY A LARGE MAJORITY BUT WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH WHAT THE SOILDERS WANT WHEN SOME IN CONGRESS ARE PLAYING POLITICS WITH OUR MILITARY.

Thank you!
