Ron Paul doesn't understand his own success.

I thought I knew what 'success' meant.

Wait while I go look up the definition again as someone must have changed it while I was sleeping.

He’s representative of a giant crock of crap...the demons come out in droves and run up the polls for him, etc to skew the entire landscape for republicans. It’s all bogus.

The MSM couldn’t give 2 excrements about any of Ron Paul’s policy positions except for being against the Iraq War. That’s the only reason he gets any attention.

“As a lawmaker, he’s chosen not to participate in the congressional pension program.”
When given a choice between socialism quick and socialism slightly slower anyone who proposes we go back to following the constitution will resonate with Americans. One would wish that all our lawmakers would eschew the pension largess.

"I have been just dumbfounded about what's happening," Paul said

I'm not surprised he's dumbfounded. His whole administration would be one dumbfounded moment after another. ("Now why would those Kenyans set off that bomb in the Sears Tower? We didn't occupy Kenya!")

I could get behind anti Federal Reserve, DOE, and income tax positions. Pity the positions come with so much other baggage.

A Ron Paul presidency would be a complete disaster, based upon his stated positions.

Apparently, his point of view is located somewhere in the late 1800’s, before the creation of the Federal Reserve and the events of the 20th century.

Regarding the whole Federal reserve and the fiat money situation. It is really simpler than people realize. Our whole 21st century society is an artifact, a construction of men’s minds. Without the monetary system in place today, 21st century society would be impossible, and life would be intolerable for the vast majority of people - the only direct beneficiary to the elimination of the Federal Reserve and fiat money would be 9th century Islam - that is one of their stated goals.

Ron Paul does not understand the threat caused by a political philosophy that desires to destroy the artifact of modern society - think not? Check out his position on fighting radical Islam. He seems to think that radical Islam was created by US. It has been around for a thousand years, but he has just discovered it, and it is apparently OUR fault.

That point alone disqualifies him as a serious candidate.

In fact, his complete misunderstanding of the international situation and the world we must live in today is enough to disqualify him as a danger to our own country. He should not even be a Congressman with the lack of understanding of the real world we live in that he displays.

The part that should concern all is that his supporters know even less about the world and our society than he does - they claim he makes sense.

He is good for comic relief, though.

the near messianic CULTIST zeal he inspires)

There is, always has been, a percentage of the ummmm, what's a word...emmm, brain dead in every society,

I wonder if the audiences aren't getting infiltrated with some dimWits and with the help of the media - they aren't intent on pumping up the only rabid antiwar pubbie...Why would he suddenly hit a pocket of worshipers? If it were in Vermont, yeah

So, “success” is now defined as single digit polls since he got into the race, eh?

So, “success” is now defined as attracting the looniest of the lefties and righties to internet polls?

Ron Paul and “success” are oxymorons.

95 % Ron Paul's message is strict constitutional conservatism, which I agree with wholeheartedly

I fail to understand why he thinks Islamic terrorism is the point he diverges into la la land.

I forget who said it, but the Constitution isn't a suicide pact.

As POTUS candidate his plan to address terrorism is utter nonsense, so the man is a non starter.

He (Ron Paul) was reluctant to run for the Republican presidential nomination, he said yesterday...

Though nowhere near as reluctant as I and a plethora of others are to vote for him or even support him for the nomination.

The man is a barking moonbat, he acts like that other moonbat, Kucinich.

I thought I'd never say this, but, well, I'm almost to the point that I'd vote for Hillary rather than him.

......chirrup, chirrup.....

Nah, I'd never get that desperate, but the man is a damn fool and even worse, he's a dangerous damn fool.

He'll get a few so-called conservatives to cast their support for him.

More's the pity.

Ron Paul doesn’t understand his own success.

My thoughts exactly. I guess I need a new dictionary. Thought success meant something completely different.

Its like that Monty Python ditty “and now for something something different”.
