Apparently the D.C. DMV doesn't worry about the constitutionality of D.C. members of Congress.

Revoke home rule. Let Congress run the show as it should. See how Washingtonians like 435 representatives.

Given the taxpaying records of Marion Berry and Eleanor Holmes Norton’s husband, the plates should read “Representation without taxation.” And truth be told, the District gets a million times more money from federal taxpayers that its residents pay in.

Stupid question here but, why not just dissolve the District and turn it over to Maryland? Make it Washington, Maryland.

Or is that just too simple?

If they don’t like it, let ‘em move to a state. But I have news for them: taxation WITH representation ain’t all that hot either. :-)

This aint news. Living in the DC area for 2.5 years, I’ve only ever seen plates like this.

License Plates -”Taxation without Representation” I think they should offer them in Illinois, too. -)

I'm completely in favor of DC's "Taxation Without Representation" tags. It is inequitable and something should be done.

However, the solution isn't to add representation; It's to remove all federal taxation. Making that town a Hong Kong on the Potomac would be the best thing that ever happened to it.

Hey DC, if you’re not happy with the present situation please secede and take the congress with you!

DC is a third world country supported by hand-outs, staffed by incompetents, populated by disarmed lefty twits and welfare leeches.

Maryland is not much better and Northern Virginia is well on the way to the same stupidity.
