Don’t know about your areas, but around here blacks are showing up in jobs formerly held exclusively by illegals — Must be a replacement cycle, the illegals are getting too hot to hire, even at the no tax cash discount rate. I have lived here for years and never once saw a black in one of these slots, until recently.

The truth is the reason Americans weren’t doing the jobs is employers weren’t hiring Americans. I wonder where the race hustlers stand on this issue? Better yet, why do the race hustlers stand with the open borders crowd, when it’s a whole lot of their folks who get hurt in the process. I know the answer, so I will add, the race hustlers love permanent power as much as the next, and know that changing the demographics of the American voter is the best way for Democrats to get that.

“Don’t know about your areas, but around here blacks are showing up in jobs formerly held exclusively by illegals “

Blacks were well represented in trades jobs with good wages and benefits (=$23+/hr) - carpenters, painters, bricklayers - before the illegals pushed them out of their jobs with greedy exploiting contractors.

The pure capitalists who support cheap imported labor working under the table in near-indentured status don’t really care about the real free market. They work around it by changing the rules in their favor.

A true free market is occurring now in Alberta, Canada. Without the competition of illegal labor, the oil field prosperity has McDonalds offering flippers and counter folk $15/hr. And yet these businesses are still making tidy profits and the province is running a big budget surplus and financing the rest of Canada.

A rising tide will lift all boats until you start stuffing too many people in the boat then it starts sinking.
