PA GOP: Fast Eddie Robs Peter Paul to Pay Hillary

HARRISBURG Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Robert A. Gleason, Jr. was not surprised to see that Gov. Ed Rendell and U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton are involved in more fundraising scandals with another convicted felon, named Peter Paul. Paul alleges that Ed Rendell, then Chairman of the Democrat National Committee, told him to lie about his involvement with a 2000 Clinton for Senate fundraiser.
Apparently, when Sen. Clinton and Gov. Rendell need campaign donations, they dial up the list of Americas most wanted as their list of supporters, Gleason said. Americans need to look long and hard at all of the recent stories involving Sen. Clinton and Gov. Rendells relationship with shady donors, especially after they both took hundreds of thousands from felon Norman Hsu. Many questions come to mind and both Sen. Clinton and Gov. Rendell owe us answers.
Furthermore, I find the allegations that Gov. Rendell, then Chairman of the Democratic National Party, asked Peter Paul to lie about his involvement in the Hollywood fundraiser deplorable! Although deplorable, it is not that surprising, considering Gov. Rendell has been quick to lie to Pennsylvanians about numerous things, including his campaign promise to deliver lower taxes.
If Gov. Rendell thinks that Norman Hsu was one of the ten best people he ever met, where does Peter Paul rank? I believe that a person running for president or a governor of a state should be a good judge of character, and clearly Sen. Clinton and Gov. Rendell are not!
According to a report in todays Wall Street Journal, U.S. Senator Hillary Clintons 2000 Senate campaign held a fundraiser in Hollywood organized by Peter Paul, a three-time convicted felon. Mr. Paul is suing both Bill and Hillary Clinton claiming that he was misled into spending over $1,000,000 organizing a fundraiser for her campaign based on the promise that Bill Clinton would become his business associate after he left the White House.

Subject: Gov. Rendell to be a witness in Paul v Clinton
XXXXX, it was a pleasure speaking with you.
Governor Rendell has been named on the witness list to be called for testimony in the Los Angeles Superior Court civil trial of Paul v Clinton. Discovery is expected to begin shortly after the California Appellate Court determines whether Hillary Clinton will be brought back into the case as a defendant. I am writing a story for FreeRepublic.com, and am putting the finishing touches on a documentary film. If the governor has some comments, I would be pleased to include them so that his side of the story is heard.
Aaron Tonken will also be testifying. For a certain period of time, Tonken was wearing a government wire. Tonken has claimed that the governor offered him a state job paying $100,000. From the information I have so far gathered, that job was offered to Tonken after Tonken was indicted in California on several charges regarding charitable fundraising.
I would be grateful for some input on the following:
1. Does the governor have a comment about being on the witness list?
2. Can the governor comment on the job offer to Tonken?
3. Can the governor shed light on the reporting of the in-kind contribution by Peter Paul, who paid for an Al Gore fundraiser at the Beverly Hills Hotel in early 2000 put on by Mr. Rendell when he was head of the DNC? I can find no record that the in-kind contribution was ever reported.
4. At the Al Gore fundraiser, Paul claims that he gave a stock pledge of $150,000. I can find no record that the stock pledge was reported. Can you help me find that reporting?
5. On August 14, 2000, pursuant to a call sheet I have seen from the offices of Stan Lee Media, Mr. Rendell made a call to Paul that was listed on the callsheet as "emergency." A short time later, another call came in from Lloyd Grove of the Washington Post. Can the governor make a comment on that conversation?
Thank you very much for your help in this matter.

BTTT!
Even the PA GOP has bought into the attacks on Peter Paul by Kendall and the rest of the spinners. We need to change that.
Exactly.
Sorry, it will never make the MSM.
Sorry in advance for busting your chops. This is not necessarily directed at you personally, but I am really tired of people who complain and never do anything. I don’t know that you are one of those.
Yeah, it is pretty easy to sit back and say it will never make the MSM. It might actually take just a little effort to make a few calls and send a few faxes and try to hold their feet to the fire. But that would take a little more effort than typing a sentence on an FR thread.
Here is the challenge. Do you want something to happen? Here is a link to the media guide. Get on the phone. I 100% guarantee that, if we don’t try to get them to report, they will not report. Well? Please report back to us the media outlets you contacted.

It would be interesting to google all states on Clinton/Peter Paul and Clinton/Hsu and create a list of news sites that have actually reported on this.
My local paper is still refusing to report on this. I asked my daughter who lives in the Albany area if she knew anything about either. She hasn’t heard a thing. There’s been nada on Peter Paul in The Times Union and only one online Times Union blog has even mentioned Hsu - and that’s a blog - it’s not in the hard copy, of course. It’s very frustrating.
A major story, 3/4 of a whole page appeared in the WSJ on A-7 on Friday. NO ONE ELSE IS PICKING UP THE STORY!
Go to news.google.com and search for - Peter Paul Hillary
