Yep, the left and some on the right are ticked that Saddam isn’t funding suicide bombs for Israeli kids anymore.

Notice how they squeal at any threat to the nut-job in Iran.

He is one of their last hopes to push Israel out to sea.

You see, all ME trouble was started by Zionists and the State of Israel.

And Rudy was tough on Arafat, WAY before 9/11

Has a person who's never held any elected office other than mayor ever become president?

I don't have an answer for that question.

Help...........;))

Neo-con is an anti-semitic code word which should be deleted from our vocabulary.

News to me. Neocon is a supporter of overhawkish foreign policies and expansion of government waste on the domestic front. The word 'neocon' has nothing to do with any religion, faith, or peoples and those that continually claim such would rather squash intelligent debate on policies than be labeled big government supporters.

After more thought and some research I thought George Washingon, Father of Our Country.

Where I am from, it is an anti-semitic slur - where in other circles it is perfectly accepted as the norm./Just Asking - seoul62........

I’ll be voting exclusively for smaller, less intrusive government and the restoration of the Constitution in every election from now on. I have voted for the lesser of two evils for the last time.

I think both William Howard Taft and Herbert Hoover had never been elected to any political office before being elected President. The same is true of some Presidents who were elected because they were war heroes.

The last man elected directly from the House of Representatives was James A. Garfield in 1880--Lincoln had served one term in Congress but that was more than a decade before he was elected President. And he only got 39% of the popular vote.

I believe Harry S Truman was a former Representative. Has there ever been a mayor elected to the White House?

It's probably about time we put that whole myth to rest. Just a couple of weeks before having Arafat tossed out of Lincoln Center -- allegedly over his "terrorist ties" -- Giuliani hosted Irish Republican Army spokesman Gerry Adams at an official city dinner.

As far as Giuliani was concerned, Arafat's only crime was that he was Palestinian instead of Irish or Italian.

Absolutely right. The term “neo-con” is basically a code word for a big-government, nanny-state globalist (which is why so many of them are perfectly comfortable with a totalitarian leftist like Rudy Giuliani). I always put the term “neo-conservative” in quotes because there is almost nothing remotely conservative about their political agenda.

Sage words. That election allowed us newly minted 18 year olds the opportunity to vote...some opportunity for the first time voter. It could have been worse, I could have awaken between Hitlery and Lorena Bobbitt the morning after the election. I too held my nose and pulled the Nixon lever. I will again even if, (Please Lord, NO, 1000 times), Guiliani or McCainiac win the Republican nomination. I won’t send any dough, however.

He claims he will apoint conservative judges so that may be a comfort..

Only if one believes him, which I don't give his character and liberal track record.

Well put.

We should have known something was up when being conservative wasn't enough. If you feel compelled to modify the term "conservative" (such as, say, by adding "compassionate" in front of it) then you aren't one.

Every Republican candidate but Ron Paul would effectively fight the war on terror and finish the job in Iraq. So, there is no need to sell out on every other issue to put Giuliani in office.

The single-issue voters are supporters of RINO Rudy.
