This is going to kill my wife.

Her family has an old VHS tape from the 80s of him singing with a boys choir that they listen to every Christmas. It is their #1 tradition.

I wont tell her about this tonight.

So sad.

I hate this cancer. It took a friend of mine as well as my mother last December. God bless Pavarotti and his family.

And God bless you too, peggybac. May His angels surround you, and may His presence be with you, and give you peace.

So very true .... I know someone who goes into a teary trance when hearing him sing that. May God rest his soul, singing with the angels through eternity.

Listening to Pavarotti’s performance of “Rondine al nido” from the three tenors concert.

I would rank it as one of the best operatic performances of all time. Just beautiful.

RIP Luciano. Keep singing like an angel in heaven.

Oh, how sad. I’ve been fearing this since I heard his diagnosis, and doubly so since I heard his condition had worsened.

My sincere sympathy to his family and friends. The world is impoverished with the loss of his talents.

Indeed, me and the family were always big fans of the 3 tenors.

May Pavarotti rest in peace, and may his family know the love that people around the world will always have for his gift.

The same aria performed during the opening ceremonies at Torino, last year. 70 years old, outdoors in the cold, sick with cancer, and he was still simply amazing.
