The Birth of al Qaedastan

In the year 2016, the world may find itself gloomily marking September 6 as the tenth anniversary of the creation of the Islamic Emirate of Waziristan. The Emirate received de facto recognition when the Taliban used the name on the ceasefire agreement they signed with Pakistan on that day in 2006. If things go terribly wrong in the coming decade, they could come to rule a mountainous fragment of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The Emirate would be a nightmare state: Osama bin Laden as sultan, Ayman al Zawahiri as vizier, and Mullah Omar the spiritual leader. An economy built on smuggling and heroin. Primary export: terrorism. Welcome to ‘Al Qaedastan’.

Analysts say the rise of a terrorist state straddling the rugged area between Pakistan and Afghanistan is now viable. The reason is a number of troubling trends. One, the revival of a Taliban firmly in the control of Al Qaeda. Two, the seeming inability of either Kabul or Islamabad to defeat the new threat militarily. The investigation into the terrorist bomb plot in Germany is likely
to
take
months, the federal prosecutors office said Saturday, while the
justice
minister called on Muslims to report radicals to the authorities.

The federal prosecutors office in Karlsruhe confirmed a report from
Germany’s Focus newsmagazine that three suspects arrested in a German
town
on Tuesday had bought three small delivery vehicles second hand in
France
and brought them over the border.

But a spokeswoman for the office would not confirm reports saying
investigating officers assumed the vehicles were to be used to
deliver
massive bombs on or around Tuesday next week to mark the sixth
anniversary
of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks in the United States.

I’ve never really been worried about living in DC since I moved here about 2yrs ago, but I am a little nervous with everything going on right now. I am sure that if I decided to “go on vacation” tomorrow I would feel foolish come Wednesday when nothing happens, but it’s been a thought that has crossed my mind once or twice.

I am worried as well. I have moved out to the rural area of Md., but two of my daughters are in Mont. Co. and one lives within a mile of the Pentagon in Arlington. They all think I’m a crazy doomer when I ask them to please have an evacuation plan. They chuckle and pat me on the head.

I hope I’m wrong about what is likely to happen very soon, and if I’m not wrong I hope that you and my daughters are safe. I hope that all good people are safe. I hope that our leaders catch it in time.

I really feel it coming, though.

hey nwctwx, we’re almost family now... i have my cousin/her husband and their two beautiful kids , and my uncle and aunt in DC. Baltimore.

ive been reading their chatter forever, as i’ve said before. and sent my cousins husbands a few letters (the guy works a few blocks down from dhs so i know whatever i say is being monitored yet, doesn’t matter im totally innocent) and yet, it’s just a fantasy to them.... not a good fantasy but they are detached.

what hurts is my sister in vancouver, when you think about it all of canada’s population is on usa’s border. plus, i believe AQ considers canada an enemy for f’n with afghanistan. we also have the queens face on our bills.

if i go with what obl says, canada is also a target. this is such a bad subject man, i don’t wanna bring it up anymore because i think when most ppl think AQ theres a question mark, but a dangerous one.

they don’t realize this years chatter, we do here on the TM cuz we analyze and have been, for YEARS. and is it really chatter? the guy obl is a solider not a politician like hamad mir said, if he says hes going to do something he will. they’ve waited 6 years, i have such bad feelings about tomorrow. i couldn’t convince my sister to take a weeks trip, my cousin and her husband are blind to this, ...

i dunno what to say man, i feel ominous. and i am by no means a pessimist but i have read enough of them to realize they are cold, heartless and consistent.

i’m dropping my paragraph here cuz i don’t know what else to say, just yknow, after 6 hours i go crazy without the TM. its been years, many handles but years.

good luck to everyone, all i can say is that if we haven’t hurt anybody we’re going to heaven, let that be some comfort.

just damn though the eve of this year, i am very restless.

I was just listening to the radio and they were commenting on the UBL tape from Friday. He mentioned the stopping and starting of the video of OBL and gave the times of it stopping and starting. They correspond to airline flights for United and American Airlines as well as Continental flights

1:58 = flight 158 UA
12:30 = Flight 1230 UA
14:02 = Flight 1420 Continental and American Airlines

This may be nothing but if someone can check it out I am at Work and can’t do much more for now.
