Year 1934 Hottest in USA -- GISS Corrected Data

I believe that most here are now aware of the NASA GISS temperature data that was corrected by a Canadian researcher, Steven McIntyre, now shows the hottest year in the USA is not 1998, but rather the year 1934. This post is just to point out two things: 1) the order of the hottest years and 2) the media coverage of this hugely important data correction to US yearly temperatures.

From the corrected data posted by NASA, it now shows the correct hottest years as follows, beginning with hottest:

1954

As you can see, 7 of the hottest years out of 11, all occurred before 1955. And where is the media? A Google search in news on "GISS corrected data" shows not one major news outlet reporting this breaking news.

He hasn't come forward to address this issue. But the "warming" people are saying that world wide it doesn't really change the "global" temperature. NASA screws up their data and we are supposed to trust data from Africa and the EU Weenies!?

But don't worry! Rep. John Dingell (aka: John Dingbat) is drafting a carbon tax bill which would cutoff the mortgage-interest tax deductions for owners of houses with more than 3,000 square feet!
More social engineering via the tax code. Here are my questions: what will an audit look like? Will the IRS come to your house to preform the measurements themselves or will a certified square foot surveyor have to be hired? What will our tax forms look like: will we have to answer questions about our house size, how often we use heat/air conditioning, how often we barbecue, how often we exhale, how often will flush? When will the sheople wake up? So many questions so little time.
