LOS ANGELES – In the annals of takeovers, it was among the mellowest. A group calling itself Guerrilla Gay Straight Bar, gay straight men looking to crash straight gay hangouts with the intent of turning them predominantly gay straight for a moment in time, set its sights on Venice Beach one recent Saturday.
How did they find a straight bar in San Francisco?
I guess the "butt cracks" of America's geography would be "the expected places" then..
So gays are bored and want to hang with heteros, huh? I can’t really object as long as it improves my odds of picking up a woman. :-)

How does taking over a beach or a bar for a day and making it ‘gay’ end their ghettoization in predominantly gay hangouts?
In a related story, there has been a sudden surge of drunken fistfights in Venice beach bars. Marine Sergeant McClusky, on leave from a tour of duty in Iraq and one of those arrested, said “He squeezed my bottom. I just reacted.”
Gaylord Inyaface has filed a civil suit against Sergeant McClusky alleging a hatecrime and assault. Inyaface has stated that his hand was pushed into the bottom of the Marine and that he is in no way responsible for the altercation.
Of course, sooner or later they’ll get the tar kicked out of them on one of these forays and then we’ll be treated to a month-long treatise on hate crimes against these innocent queers, who just want to be treated like everyone else.
I thought they just wanted to be left alone and not try to impose their lifestyles on anyone else?
I notice at the end of the article they are contemplating adding churches as a target. That goes beyond a simple desire to broaden their customary venues and says a lot about their ulterior motives. The article makes the action sound benign but I very much doubt all the participants have the same mindset.
Love the thread headline. One thing is for sure gays sure like to have sex in unexpected places, on the body.
