Oh, great. They’re not satisfied with Panama and the Canal. Well, the illegal Mexicans, etc. will have to move over and make room.

I visited the real “forbidden city”, in Beijing.

I thought it was kinda boring. Hope they can make the Texas version more exciting.

The Great Wall, on the other hand, was WAY cool.

Hey, maybe we can talk them into building a “Great Wall” replica between US and Mexico!

I imagine they'll want to build a mini Mecca in the future too.

I think of Texas and think Alamo, western culture...Now I'll think China Town!

When the sun comes up on a sleepy little town
Down around San Antone
And the folks are risin’ for another day
‘Round about their homes.
The people of the town are strange
And they’re proud of where they came.

Well, you’re talkin’ ‘bout China Grove, wo, oh, oh,
Oh, China Grove

Anna’s idiot Mayor Kenneth Pehlman signed the equally crappy worded letter.

They must have walked it in to him and had him sign it right then while they were watching or something.

It looks like what we are reading is the “Google” tramslation. That explains a lot. But did you read the letter that the Texas Mayor signed?

I guess he uses Google translator too.

Me too! Last year, Beijing & Great Wall.

The Forbidden City was boring but realizing how Chinese royalty lived, in their own protected city, was enlightening.
