There is so much that is wrong with this issue and this article.

First, it would be a policy change and not a law, and therefore would be unenforceable.

Second “violators could be expelled”? Bullsh*t.

Third: If psychologists are removed “people could die”? OF what? Boredom?

Fourth: Psychologists are quacks anyway.

I'm not so sure about that. That might cause some trouble, if being a member of the American Psychological Association is required in order to be a "board certified" psychologist.
