LOS ANGELES (AP) - An illegal immigrant who sought sanctuary in a Chicago church to avoid deportation has been arrested in Los Angeles.
That word came this evening from the pastor of the Adalberto United Methodist Church in Chicago where Elvira Arellano (el-VEE'-ruh ah-ray-AH'-noh) had sought sanctuary.
The Reverend Walter Coleman says he was with Arellano when she was detained this afternoon. But he says he couldn't immediately provide other details.

Get ready for violence (from the illegals in the streets).
The media will fan the flames, particularly Hispanic media.
They will get them in the streets ala Rodney King.
Just sayin' batten down the hatches, folks.

Happy Day, indeed!
“The 32-year-old and her son took refuge last year. Arellano said she didn’t want to be separated from her U.S.born boy.”
TAKE HIM WITH YOU!
No need for “separation”.

Hispanic media running with it, hot and heavy:
Here is a dispatch from "La Raza" just now, bulletin:
She got the cold steel around her wrists apparantly at 4:15 p.m., according to a group called "Center Without Borders".

"Speaking yesterday, Arellano said she wasn't afraid of being detained. Said she had only two choices -- to either go back to Mexico or to stay in the United States and keep fighting. She said she'd decided to stay and fight. "
Looks like a 1st round TKO.

Don’t bet on it....
“In 1999, she gave birth to Saul Arellano whose father remains unnamed by his mother. Saul, now 7, is a United States citizen. “

An illegal immigrant who sought sanctuary in a Chicago church to avoid deportation An illegal immigrant can avoid deportation by going into a church? And the ICE agents cannot enter and arrest her there? What about separation of church and state?
