The unfortunate truth is that the lie will always be the bigger story and get more play than the ineloquent retraction. They know exactly what they are doing. The “source” is merely the firewall to their misinformation strategy.

O.K....I remember this guy. He's the lefty surrender monkey "plant"....mouthpiece for the dims and everything we oppose.

I had buddies over in that theater until just recently who do what I "do", and they assured me that if one tried to pull a stunt like this and got any amount of attention because of it (like this guy did) that they WOULD find you. I do it for a living now, so I can plainly state that it just isn't all that hard to find people on a network that you "own".

So he didn't break the law eh? I should think not! He attempted to sway public opinion of a military operation through subversion! I wonder who's his "buddy" in his platoon now? ...probably about as many as the islamic soldier who chucked that grenade a couple of years ago. It must suck to be a lying leftist...even more to get caught, and then have to be exposed to those who cover your ass on a daily basis in a dangerous place. But I suppose he should have thought about this.

He needs to be in peace corps, but I doubt he could hang with them. They're fairly "giving" people and I doubt this goon has the heart for it.

Understand the MSM and the left here

US soldiers commit acts of desecration and other bad behaviors : True until proven false.

Al Qaeda bakes young children and serves them to their families: False until proven true.

Conclusion - with the left and the MSM, al Qaeda gets the greater benefit of the doubt than US servicemen.

“Conclusion - with the left and the MSM, al Qaeda gets the greater benefit of the doubt than US servicemen.”

Right on the money. Because the default position of the MSM and the left is that the U.S. is evil, and the cause of all the evils in the world. When you start with that assumption, everything else they do follows.

Washinton Post excerpt:

The magazine's editor, Franklin Foer, disclosed in an interview that Beauchamp is married to a New Republic staffer, and that is "part of the reason why we found him to be a credible writer." Foer also said Beauchamp "has put himself in significant jeopardy" and "lost his lifeline to the rest of the world" because military officials have taken away his laptop, cellphone and e-mail privileges.

Gaaaah. No one can actually WRITE anymore.

“An investigation of the allegations were conducted by the
command and found to be false.”

An investigation were found to be false?

Valid points about “official investigations,” but the PAO’s report stretches my credulity less than TNR’s snow job on BF Beauchamp. The section I quoted in my OP, for example, has more holes than a *CENSORED*.

So what is the truth? TNR stands by it’s story and says that “anonymous soldiers” CONFIRM Beauchamp’s allegations. Whoever the sergeant is of this platoon needs to be thrown into the stockade if he allowed this.

It’s gotten to the point that the left and the msm (but I repeat myself) don’t even try to hide whose side they are on. (And it isn’t America’s)
