UK Citizens Abandoning the UK in Greater Numbers

July 25, 2007 - Press Dispensary - Increasing numbers of people are taking the decision to move overseas as a result of the UK’s current immigration policy, according to www.globalvisas.com, a specialist immigration consultancy that provides immigration advice and visa services.

As numbers of immigrants to the UK from the new European Union Accession states continue to grow, more and more people in the UK are choosing to take their experience and skills overseas.

The consultancy caters for immigrants to the UK as well as British people who wish to emigrate to the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or South Africa. After more than 12 years in its field, the company has recorded an increase in the number of non-EU and low skilled EU A8 citizens coming to the UK over recent years, and is now seeing a dramatic increase in British people applying to leave the UK.

Director Liam Clifford says: "Since January 2007, we have recorded an 80% rise in British nationals applying to move overseas. As this rise continues, so does the number of enquiries we receive from people asking for help in migrating to a new country. In recent months, we have received as many as 4,000 requests in a single week from people who have had enough of Britain and want to get out."

He adds: "Ironically, the main reason for these people leaving the UK is the over-stretching of services caused by inbound immigration to the UK. We are aware of the issue of so-called ‘white flight’ from certain inner city areas to the suburbs but now people are increasingly seeking a better standard of living offered by other countries.

"This phenomenon adds to the existing shortage of skilled workers already faced by the UK as they leave only to be replaced by low skilled EU A8 workers or low skilled refugees."

I’ve no quarrel with either of those two descriptions, neither of which makes him a socialist. There’s plenty enough to loathe in Blair’s sins of commission and omission without loading on to him an ideology which was never his.

My personal recommendation to all Britons and other Europeans of a conservative bent who wish to emmigrate to the US.... Do it illegally. Don’t bother with all the red-tape. Our politicians are hell-bent on legalizing illegals and my guess is that within the next 5-10 years, it will happen, regardless of the will of the American people.

Britons have been fleeing the British Isles in large numbers for almost four centuries. (their descendants make up a huge portion of the American, Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand population, and a fair amount of the South African and several Caribbean states’ populations).

The difference between then and now is that there were a lot of kids then and the population was burgeoning. The average age in Britain during the Industrial Revolution was something like 17 (at least according to Mark Steyn's America Alone). What's the average age of a Briton today? 40? The fertility rate there is way below replacement--at least among the non-Muslim population.

Demography is destiny.

I know many Brits that have moved to Dallas. I have two as employees and one sends money home to his mom in England. They are not wimps. They are blue collar guys. If they didn't have the accent and strange language they could just as well be good old American boys.

One guy who does installations once told me his Rugby coach's advice to him was "win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat."

I laughed my ass off.

The UK is not a socialist nation in any way, shape or form.

Huh? What color is the sky on your planet?

I work in the Sears Tower, I make sure to glare at any “Asian” taking pictures of my workplace.

The other day I saw the fullblown Imam wearing some dirty rag and unwashed ugly beard to his nipples surrounded by like 5 women in bags.

He was taking pictures. I was in my car coming out of the parking lot, and it dawned on me that I should take picture of him with my cell phone, but by the time I thought of it, the red light changed to green and I had to move.

“In light of this, let me ask you this: Very many immigrants come to the US (more so than to the UK). Do you want to leave your country because of this?”

The Muzzies are causing much trouble in your country, and it’s getting worse. They may not be that great in numbers yet (although they breed like rabbits while the non-immigrant population is barely breeding at all), so you figure out what’s going to happen demographically. If you guys don’t start popping out babies, you’ve got real problems coming. You’ve already got terrorist acts w/the Muzzies. Now, if you want to wear blinders about the fifth column that exists in your country, feel free, but if I were you I’d keep my passport handy.

Thanks for your reply.

Evidence suggests that immigrants to the UK, including Muslims, soon have family sizes equivalent to those of the rest of the UK population. You must remember that many Eastern Europeans are now moving to the UK. This alone has probably counteracted the larger Muslim family sizes at present.

Furthermore, the undoubted problems with a minority of Muslim fanatics in the UK must be put in proportion. As I have noted earlier in this thread, the UK faced a much more sophisticated and sustained attack from Irish terrorists for several decades. The UK’s Irish community is far larger than its Muslim one. Yet I would say that anyone leaving the UK because of this would be a somewhat bizarre occurence.

Finally, sorry to go on ;-), in a worst case scenario, where hostile Muslims were in very large numbers in the UK, I still don’t think that patriotic Brits would leave their country. Surely it would be better to stand and protect it?

In any case, while I in no way deny the current problems caused by Islam on the world stage, there are decent, hard-working, loyal Muslims.

I’m glad that you’ve had a good experience of my countrymen, mate :-)

Rugby’s a great sport to watch, too, if you get the chance. 80 minutes of hard-hitting tackles, blood and sweat. The Rugby World Cup (currently held by England-the British have separate teams for England, Wales, Scotland) is starting in the Fall.
