This is EXACTLY how the "news alert" from the ASS press reads. I can smell the bias, can't you?

Well, the Pubs managed to find enough spines to keep us from losing all our clout in the world. Good for them.

Too bad they couldn’t muster more fortitude when they had the majority, though.

Bias? Against the Dems, maybe. That title’s pretty cool.

The Democrats played to their moonbat base last night. They didn't change any minds. What a disgusting spectacle. I'm glad they're going on vacation next month. Gen. Petraeus has been bought time to get the job done - and the Democrats are afraid of good news like sick people dread the plague. It could end killing them politically, since only the country's loss can be their gain.

I just had another solicitation call from the RNC moments ago. I bombarded the poor guy one of my polite but ferocious salvos.

He said he hoped that the shootdowns of the amnesty bill and this morning's vote at the Surrender Slumber Party made me feel better and that I would re-consider and send $150.

Ha, I hit him between the ears with the fact that the RNC funnels our hard-won dollars to the likes of the Sobsey Twins, Susan and Olympia, who along with other turncoat RINOS jump the GOP ship all the time, including today.

Not knowing prior that I am a Free Republic educated genius and up on all things worth being up on, and that I'm not the average schlump he talks to, he began to get an inkling.

Within moments he deftly bade me adieu and wished me a good day.

LOL.....I LOVE these phone calls. They keep me sharper than Ann Coulter's tongue!

That is exactly what happened. Republicans blocked the surrender.

Doncha’ KNOW that the ENEMY loves seeing this stuff.

They know that all they have to do is hold out long enough, and the LIBERAL, FRENCHIE-Americans will force a withdrawl.

CORRECTION NEEDED!

The copy I posted was exactly what the ASS press reported; there was no headline...The "Republicans Block Surrender" headline was mine. I apologize for any confusion. When these quick headlines come out from ASS press, there is no formal headline.

It would be good to block surrender. In the years to come, which is what all this is about, the resources of the region will have to be kept available. Surrender would lead directly to chaos since no other power on earth would be able to both keep order at all and permit development.

We must fight the deadliest enemy the USA has ever faced, todays so called democratic party. This party is now a haven for Marxists, socialists and outright communists.
Dingy Harry Reid is more dangerous to our freedoms than 100 Osama Bin Ladens.
The so called democrats are openly supportive of all enemies of the United States.
We need to fight this left wing traitor trash with all our might in the hopes that a Free Republic may survive.

Yeah!! Thank you Republicans, we needed that. We can’t afford to surrender before we finish off the terrorists, no matter what the Democrats say. As one FReeper put it, pulling our troops from Iraq now would be like pulling firefighters from a fire before it is out.

Thank heaven I kept reading. My first understanding was that Rs, as a voting block, had surrendered (to some rat bill or the other...) The Republican Party has a lot to make up for before they earn my confidence again.

To those who blocked the surrender, good job! Keep it up!
