On Mondays "Good Morning America," ABC devoted 38 minutes of air time to Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards in a town hall special. This is in addition to the over 26 minutes they provided fellow 08 contender Hillary Clinton back in March. Thats a grand total of 64 minutes of publicity for Democratic candidates and zero for Republicans.
Now, to be fair to "Good Morning America," GMA host Diane Sawyer did ask tougher, harsher questions than her colleague Robin Roberts did when she interviewed Senator Clinton on March 26. However during the July 16 program, Sawyer found no time to ask Edwards about the hateful anti-Christian bloggers that the campaign hired, and then was forced to fire, earlier this year. Instead, the ABC anchor did manage these tough queries:
Diane Sawyer: "Whats the worst meal youve had on the road?"
....
Sawyer: "Do you listen to an iPod? Does it relax you on the road?"
(What is it with Sawyer and iPods? She asked Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad a similar question.)
GMA must address this fundamental problem: Their 2008 town hall segment kicked off nearly four months ago and they have yet to feature a single Republican. Is Mitt Romney not interested? Would Senator John McCain, whose White House bid is low on cash, turn down free air time? If ABC is truly interested in a balanced look at campaign 08, the network needs to answer this objection.
[Special thanks to MRC intern Michael Lanza for transcribing parts of the Edwards special.]
There is that Fairness Doctrine working.

That’s OK. If they had covered GOP candidates, it would have been highly negative.
But our airwaves must be free for the people so that they get both sides of the issue! /S
Is this the same Diane Sawyer that was all but in tears a couple of weeks ago when her fellow jurors laughed at her for claiming she was an unbiased journalist.
The reality is that the Dem race is non-competitive and Hillary will be the nominee without question. The only real competitive primary is the GOP race, but the MSM would rather try to manufacture a contest than cover a real one. Why? They want a Dem in the WH in 2009.
Do I need a reason NOT to watch ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and the BBC. All the news that fits in a garbage can.
I never watch Morning on ABC. Were the GOP candidates present, or will they be questioned on another day?
With George Soros and Warren Buffett behind her, she enjoys a tremendous advantage, no question about it.
She was so excited, cheerful and happy I thought she might wet herself.
I don’t know, I have been reading a lot of DUmmie FUnnies lately, and a lot of the DU and KOS crowd hate Hillary, Edwards, Obama whoever, they are fighting for their guys like we are ours.
It is disgusting, biased and illegal... but that does not change the fact that abc stands for “anything but Conservative”!

Yep, let’s discuss “Fairness Doctrine” issues with the guys at ABC. It doesn’t seem “Fair” to have these town meetings for Dem. candidates and not Republican.
Let’s be honest now. Those cotton balls they threw at Hillary and Edwards were very tough indeed! If one of them had landed in their eyes, it would have been mildly irritating.
robin roberts... New Orleans TV start... flaming lib... moved to gma... charlie gibson... flaming socialist and leftist... chris cuomo.. evil incarnate spawn from the loin of mario the pios... george stephanopolis... knee-pad boy for ‘toon... until abc purges their entire News department... it will remain solidly part of the dnc.

This is no suprise. ABC needs to come clean with the few viewers it has and drop the “A” and add the “D” for Dumbocrat. “DBC” is alot more honest.
Most of the MSM’s reason for being is to elect Democrats.
Or, my personal favorite, the "Absurdly Biased Channel."
That’s a good one too!
