The scent of blood is in the air. We’re in the process of being hamstrung by our own left.
Nothing brings out the predators like an easy kill.

“Irwin Stelzer, Rupert Murdoch’s right-hand man, called his appointment, “appalling”.”

More than appalling. Can you say Global Marshall Plan?

I told you so.

“For better of worse, it is very unlikely that the Brown/Bush relationship is going to go through the baptism of fire and therefore be joined together at the hip like the Blair/Bush relationship was.”

This is going to be an absolute horror.

Mark Malloch Brown: 'Let's not rely just on US'

Good idea, rely on all your other many friends in the world. I'd start with all the people you used to own, I hear they are wanting to sacrifice for Britain these days.

Isn’t this the same fool who said that Americans hate the UN because they’re too stupid to understand how just how wonderful it is?

He’s nothing but another globalist UN hack, but he’s not the worst of them, and he’s not in charge of things. We’ve gotten used to dealing with Blair, and Gordon Brown doesn’t seem that bad, but they’re still Labour. Socialists, “reformed” Communists, “One World” Globalists, etc. As long as the actual leadership remains pragmatic we’re in good shape.

Gordon Malloch-Brown is in Soros’s right-hand pocket.

Question is if he will sacrifice all that dough for a place in the government, or will Soros find a way to compensate for his economic loss when he has to resign from the hedge fund?

He was happy to go into battle against the neo-cons on behalf of the UN. "I have spent all my life trying to build multi-national coalitions. For me, everything I had worked for and fought for was suddenly under attack from one corner of the American political system and if they wanted to go toe to toe on it, I was going to do it."

He believes he has always been in tune with mainstream America. "From Colin Powell to Condi Rice all the way through to Richard Holbrooke or Madeleine Albright, across that massive swath of American foreign policy, I would bet you a drink that you would find that I am their favourite multi-nationalist Brit.

[...]

"When last year there was an attempt to put together a new partnership for Iraq, I was the one who was called. Condi Rice came to Kofi Annan and said, 'the only person we want to run this is Malloch Brown. It is too serious to have anyone else do it' ."

[...]

He opposes the use of the phrase War on Terror. "At the UN we have always been a bit cautious of these broad-brush labels because they have a self fulfilling quality. We prefer more forensic rhetoric."

He is also sceptical about describing the new wave of terrorism as being committed by Muslims.

This appears to be an exceedingly poor choice for a senior position in the Foreign Office.

Brits will embrace this limp-wristed nancy boy (great job brownie) until their buses and trains blow up again... and we appear to be on a similar track. I predict a future Torrie government controlling 10 Downing.

Mark B*llock-Brown is a total t*sser.

(I know this is not a terribly “forensic” level of debate, but, dammit, the man is trying to betray my country.)

We are one of the only countries that can go it alone to defend our intrests. Let them backbite us all day. One day soon when the UK has lost its sovereignty to the EU and russia, china, and the muslims are threating their interests(the EU is powerless and weak). They will then realize their mistake(well probably not) on who is their real ally and brother.
