RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Rizana Nafeek, a 19-year old housemaid from Sri Lanka, is on death row because the baby in her care died while she was bottle-feeding him. If her appeal is turned down, she will taken to a public square to be publicly beheaded.... "The Saudi authorities are flouting an international prohibition on the execution of child offenders by even imposing a death sentence on a defendant who was reportedly 17 at the time of the alleged crime," she said. Nafeek arrived in the kingdom on May 4, 2005 to work as a housemaid. She was given the additional duty of looking after the baby boy, a job the Sri Lankan Embassy says she was not trained to do. The embassy says the infant died on May 22 while she was bottle-feeding him. Nafeek allegedly confessed, according to the statement, but then recanted, saying her admission was obtained under duress. The Asian Human Rights Commission, an independent Hong Kong-based body of jurists and human rights activists, said it was an accident.

There’s nothing wrong with this...not when compared to the panty atrocities of Abu Ghraib.

“Saudi Arabia is preparing to behead a teenage girl who didn’t even have a lawyer at her trial.”

It is worth it to read the entire article here.

THIS is the Wahabi effect that is pushing the Jihad
This is what America itself allows to be imported in the United States and purveyed in Saudi sponsored mosques across America.
This is the world we all face if this form of radical islam is not defeated militarily and forever abolished from this
world of ours....
Think about it , and pray for that little girl.

Dearborn is a city of nearly 98,000 people. Dearborn’s population includes 30,000 Arab-Americans, the second largest, and the densest Arab population of any community outside the Middle East. (New York City has nearly 70,000, out of a total population of over 8 million.)

They probably don’t have too many abortions in Saudi Arabia, huh? If they are this serious abut the death penalty, I’m guessing not. But then, killing a baby in the womb really isn’t murder since it’s not a real human being yet. /sarcasm, big time.

And we let Louise Woodward off the hook for beating little Matthew Eappen to death.

It may be the girl murdered the child. It wouldn’t be the first time a servant has rid themselves of an unwanted burden.

Under Islam, in the courts/tribunals (whatever) the testimony of women is worth only 1/2 of a man’s testimony. It takes 2 women to equal a man’s word.

Of course, we are talking a religion that has always and will evermore regarded women as second class, the same level of animals.

In my experience, possible but not probable. Many housemaids/domestic servants in the Gulf Arab states endure harsh treatment at the hands of their employers including daily criticisms and beatings, no time-off, low-pay (by our standards), confiscation of passports, threats of rape, etc.
Certainly not all are treated to these conditions, but there are many.

Every week here in Kuwait in the newspapers, there’s at least one incident of a maid who committed suicide, attempted suicide, hospitalized from being beaten. There have been a few incidents, according to the local press of a maid who murdered her employer’s children, but this is not the norm and I suspect that when it has happened, it was revenge for how the maid was treated.

The foreign embassies here of the countries that supply the majority of maids are full of runaways tired of their treatment. I’ve seen many want ads posted here of maids looking for employment and many include the phrase “western family only”. I’ve never seen one that says “arab family only”.
