How do the CIA and the FBI get away with withholding vital threat and intelligence information from each other?
The President needs to reprimand both directors. (But then this President has no stomach for doing what is right....) Congress should merge both "institutions" - CIA and FBI - into one that supports the US in time of war.

(But then this President has no stomach for doing what is right....) Cut the stupid attacks on Bush. That was during the Clinton era that the two would not share info. During Bush's tenure, this is what Cheney said to the two agencies, i.e. cut the damn crap and cooperate.
"I'll be very blunt," the vice president started. "There is no priority of this government more important than finding out if there is a link between what's happened here and what we've found over there with al-Qaida."
