Vote every incumbent out of office next year, like the voters came close to doing in 1994.

Elect only candidates like Duncan Hunter—only those who’ve proven their positions with their voting records. Others will fool you.

"...who have wait their turn." = "who have NOT waited their turn".

Sorry for any other typos in this rant, I am just pissed off beyond anything I ever encountered as an activist.

If any good comes out of all of this ... it’s this... it has been a eye opener ... big time. The shady backroom Senator’s have shown their stuff in front of millions of American taxpayer citizens. It has brought the average citizen out of the shadows and slapped them upside. It was hard watching the C-span coverage today and keeping oneself from throwing the coffee cup at the screen.
It also shows the power of the average person and that you do have a say in government by contacting your (and I use the term loosely) representatives and letting them know your dissatisfaction and outrage.
What to do? Vote them out... mass tax revolt... demonstrations... blog and forum participation, run for office yourself. All alternatives.

I understand if this is just too aggressive for your forum and you delete. I hope you don't - it needs to be said that "We The People" must find a different course to deal with the traitors of our Republic.

It's been a long time coming; this is the final straw. We can either hang around DC with our little demonstrations that mean nothing to the power-mongers as they jump into their limousines and beat feet, or we can look to other means to let them know their actions are no longer acceptable.

Personally, I am willing to use my own moneys to join a sit-in on the Capitol steps. So I get arrested for tresspassing? So what? - Sheehan, Sheen, Sean, et al have done it many times and gotten much publicity and gotten away with it with a fine. I'm not suggesting anyone else do it, but I'm willing.

The time has come to re-think our Constitutional Restoration efforts. We are literally being screwed by the United States Senate and Bush - our own president.

If not now - when?

It has to start at the voting booth. People need to voice their beliefs instead of a political party. I the DEM's and GOP can't offer someone suitable then look at Independents. Start looking early on and support them. If an Independent is not suitable or available then there is a write in option in most states or simply vote the other races and leave the ballot blank where no suitable choice is given. It is counted as well. All Precincts report the number of voters as well as the election returns. A blank space on the ballot is a None of the above vote.

In the mean time hold the electeds feet to the fire. Write them letters and letters to the editor in media outlets. Most important do not forget the records of politicians. If they could not hold up to pressure of the DEMs say as a senator in simple committee hearings they chaired then who in their right mind thinks they can do so as POTUS? Short voter memory is one of the RINO's best friends.

We have several senators recently elected and re-elected from the GOP with political past that should have been an issue. We have one former senator thinking about running who was at best a so so senator, folded under pressure to the DEM's and gave Bill Clinton a NOT GUILTY VOTE. He knew better than that. Forget it and vote for him anyway because he has charisma? Not me! That's what the DEMs do with the Kennedy's.

Do some of your own research into Vaclav Havel (Czech) and non-political, apolitical and anti-political politics (seen all three words translated from his work). Avoid and/or revise anything about violence or illegal activities, of course.

Then you’ll know. ...all legal and effective. It’s really a psychological (in practice—not lefty psychoanalysis) general negativity game more than anything else.

So what do we do?

This nation was founded on Christian principles, trusting God for His protection, guidance and wisdom. When I read this article... the first thing that popped into my head was a verse (2 Chronicles 7:14)

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

This may sound simplistic.....but really....what have we got to lose? We can and WILL forge ahead.... doing everything humanly possible to eliminate the abject evil in our political processes.... but let's not forget WHO gave us our freedom and prosperity to begin with.....and in WHOSE hand it is possible to redeem our land.

Try to dry up their grafting ways. The only way to get rid of these fools is to get rid of the graft. I know that will never completely happen; but it’s a good place to start.

First of all, even if it’s not completely true; why are all of these politicians allegedly getting so rich?

Things being what they are I think ‘08 is going to the Dems as many of us are fed up enough to throw the rascals out. If the Dems get 4 or even 8 years it will be a time of rebuilding either the GOP or a new party. With the Dems screwing up BIG TIME, as they are sure to do people will have seen whata mistake they made putting them in office. Of course, cleaning up after their failed social engineering in many hours will be difficult.

One good way to heal our current national malaise would be to spread insensitivity through all public discussions. It would eventually affect business and government offices. With that, we could eventually legally and honorably get all of the corporate-minded, limp-wristed effeminates out of our insecure security offices. ...would make for a much better defense for our nation.

"Here's a question that NO ONE, I mean NO ONE has ever answered in all my postings on the Internet: Just how many more of the planet Earth's oppressed should we take in every year? 500,000?; 1,000,000?; 2,000,000?; 4,000,000?; 8,000,000?; 16,000,000?; 32,000,000?"

I wish I had just one dollar for every time I've asked this question on Internet boards for years. NO ONE bothers to answer. Again, NO ONE!

Change the terms of office of the House of Lords to a two or three year term.

Require each and every Congressman to provide a personal and spousal report on their assets before they run for office and at the termination of their period of service or before they run for office again.

Limit each and every Congressman to two consecutive terms of office and require them to sit out two intervening terms before they run for Congress again.

Only by breaking the chain of career politicians can this Republic be saved. And only by exposing those Congressmen who take payouts from special interest groups can we prevent what we are seeing now - the arrogance of the Administration and the members of the House of Lords in insisting in forcing down the throats of the American Public a bill that can only harm us, that the vast majority of us oppose, and that can only benefit certain special interest groups.

I think the President should also be subject to the requirement of submitting a personal asset statement.

For me, one of the most difficult things about all this has been to listen to my Democrat friends say, “we were right about Bush, admit it now!”

I have been a supporter of President Bush, put in many volunteer hours during his campaigns.... knowing in the back of my mind since the beginning that he leaned towards “One Wold Government” like his dad. But I knew he was our best hope and he certainly proved that after 9-11. I defended him staunchly when my Democrat friends denigrated him.

Now we are all painfully seeing the results of his “one world government” outlook. He is willing to give America away for Globalism. First merge North America, then the world... is that the plan?

So what do I say now when my Dem friends smirk and say, “we told you so!”... huh?

Just how many more of the planet Earth's oppressed should we take in every year?

I do not know tht answer to your question, but the answer can't be zero for one simple reason. We have a rapidly aging population that is beginning to retire. Our government, having failed to fix Social Security and having created huge, unsustainable entitlements must find a way to keep the ponzi scheme going. They know that if they tell us the truth and actually take steps to fix the problem the populace will scream bloody murder and they will be out of a job, so their solution is to open the floodgates and let in a flood of young workers to replace the retiring workforce.

What I don't understand is why they insist on giving away the farm in the process. I have no doubt we could institute a guest worker program where the workers paid taxes, including Social Security, with no chance of ever using those benefits, and they would still come in droves. We could have our cake and eat it too.

Actually, now that I think about it I do know why the democrats want this...the flood would be democrat voters. I don't understand why the pubbies are going along.

One more thing. If we want to REALLY let them know we are mad as hell and aren't going to take it any more, we need to stage a REAL Million Disgruntled Taxpayer and Voter march on the mall in Washington. They would be shaking in their boots (and probably needing to clean out their shorts) if throngs of disgruntled voters flooded the halls of their office buildings and their reception offices.

I can't organize it, but if someone else will I'll be there.
