Sooner or later, the Duke settlement figure will leak out. I’m betting its in the many $ millions. The Duke 88 need some consciousness raising exercises, perhaps in a reeducation camp in Cambodia...

I would suggest taking the settlement money out of their paychecks.
Would I have loved to see Duke and these fool professors get raked over the coals in court and the media. Oh Yeah. Nothing would please me more than to have all of the BS and hypocracy come out. But, putting myself in the position of these kids....
They were pretty well exonerated in the press by Roy Cooper (thanks to him for doing the right thing...)
They have massive legal bills that need to be paid, and putting it in the hands of a jury can be iffy - just takes one or two people with militant feminist tendencies to sink their battleship.
Also, I'm betting that they'd just as soon put the whole thing behind them and get on with their lives.
Hopefully, the money received was enough to cover their bills, and set them up comfortably for a nice early retirement.
ON Fox last night, Bill Oreilly I believe, reported that it has been leaked as "seven figures" for each of the three defendants. That's a million plus. Presumably it is much more and will cover legal expenses.
