Delgadillo's wife's license had been suspended from July 2004 to March 2007 after she was involved in an accident and could not show proof of insurance. Almost 3 years of license suspension for no proof of insurance?
Once again we're not getting the whole story here.

Almost 3 years of license suspension for no proof of insurance? It does smell doesn't it, since 99.9999% of the time all you need to do is show up in court with proof of insurance and the charge is dropped.

She prolly got a warning of a hearing in which her license could be suspended for that, and Delgadillo told her not to go because it would raise questions.
