They always conflate the two to obfuscate the issue.

SOP for the Left. Same way they always refer to "all the progress stem cells show for medical advancement" when the issue under debate is Embryonic Stem Cells. Only problem is the none of the advances have been accomplished using Embryonic Stem cells. So the conflate the two to obfuscate on the issue.

Question is are they doing it on purpose or are they just two dumb to understand the subtle difference?

Some of that might be true but as MNJ has pointed out so many times, an Asymmetrical war is about the toughest of wars to fight.

Throw in a brand new govt. by people that are used to being ruled by a brutal dictator and you have a truly difficulty assignment.

Then add a political party bent on achieving absolute power,with rabid socialists willing to turn our country into a left wing paradise, even throwing our fighting men to the wolves, and the jobs gets even tougher.

Anyone who can succeed under these conditions (as we are ) are truly brilliant warriors. That's why Gen Petraeus is nothing short of a genius IMHO.
