Rush Limbaugh has long been a thorn in the side of liberals, but now, because of him, some Democratic politicians don't even want to join with a local radio station to broadcast hurricane information.

Radio station WIOD, AM 610, has been the official channel for emergency information from Broward County government for the past year. The County Commission, all Democrats, balked at renewing the deal Tuesday, unable to stomach the station also being home to Limbaugh's talk show.

That’s the way to do it. Not everybody gets the idea. I haven’t posted a thread in years simply because if it is interesting to me it has probably already been posted hours before and I won’t be racing to post ten seconds ahead of somebody and get the honor. Search the organic search function with less rather than more and the odds go way up.

Ummmmmmmmmm hello?? That radio station is the one that gets out the farthest and has the most listeners. Broward county is advocating the practice of denying the biggest part of their population, weather alerts. That would be plain stupid!! Maybe it’s because conservatives actually head the warning and take care of themselves, this would create more victims. Only in such a case, conservative victims are a dream come true to any liberals!
