Let’s call for a “no confidence” vote on RINO weasels like Collins and Snowe, SPECTRE, et al. I have zero confidence that THEY have the judgment, character, and competence to serve the nation well at this critical time, so let the nation go on record that THEY should be replaced. It would be more meaningful than the unprecedented and extra-constitutional nonsense that the ‘RATs just made up...... (p.s. I’m no Gonzales fan at all, but when vicious rabid ‘RATs are on the attack one should not aid them.... and he’s certainly not worse than Reno who was allowed to blunder her way through so many years of embarrassment — the double-standards of the Demagogues and RINOs are simply breathtaking!!)

This is the legal equivalent of the Senate declaring June as “Paris Hilton Awareness Month.” It is, however, constitutional.

Don’t the Democrats realize that 100 yes votes on this measure is not enough if they want Gonzales out as Attorney General.

Unconstitutional, in my opinion.

Well... don't quit your day job and starting representing clients before the SCOTUS.

Congress can vote on a resolution about anything they want, and in this case, can expect properly to be ignored. That having been said, it is a troubling sign of the left wingers’ continuing drive to destroy America by turning it into some bastard form of europeanism.

No confidence votes don’t mean anything and have no legal effect. Having one doesn’t mean the Constitution is a living document. It just means that the Senate is spinning their wheels, taking up taxpayer time doing something that isn’t prohibited by the Constitution and has no significance whatsoever.

'Constitutional' is not the question. Since no law was being proposed it's just a waste of time.

A vote on whether the Senate lunchroom should serve Red or Green Jello on Tuesday's would have more merit.
