Ward Churchill is a footnote.
Unfortunately, The University of Colorado and Academia writ large are not footnotes. Their behavior in this sorry episode, was even worse than Mr. Churchill’s. And who will hold them to account? Politicians and prosecutors show no eagerness to take on this massive fraud. Parents keep pouring their hard earned money into this bottomless pit, not for the education, but rather for the piece of paper that will get their children on the HOV lane to success. The media are born of this morass, so don’t hold your breath that they will do anything. I think that the students are our only hope. Perhaps they will get fed up and drag these phonies out into the street and give them the justice they deserve.
Now that they’re both out of the limelight, I wonder if he and Mother Sheehan are dating.
