Funny, I dont’ remember hearing about 3000 New Yorkers being killed by lightning strikes in 2001. Or in the entire 20th century. Or in the entire history of the city.

Bloomberg sounds like a seminar caller who argues that there is no terrorist threat, and s/he's not worried about attacks because of the unlikeliness s/he would be harmed. Bummer for the thousands of other people who might be killed, maimed, or traumatized, but doggone it, if the President has to authorize unwarranted wiretaps to save this country, THE COUNTRY'S NOT WORTH SAVING ANYWAY!
