The president pleaded with senators to "show courage and resolve" to withstand outrage from voters in their districts.Maybe thats what he means.
"Stand up to those voters who wont give you money or organize for you or vote for you again!" Easy to say when your gone is a year anyway, we'll see how 'showing courage and resolve" does for Lindsey Graham next election.
