An F, for failure to de-fund the war. Instead of playing commander-in-chief with timetables, benchmarks, etc, they should have used their constitutional power of the purse if they were at all serious. F for leadership, F for integrity and F for execution. Harry Reid does receive a C+ for most disheartening comment made by a U.S. senator in time of war and for furnishing aid and comfort to the enemy.
C-. It's their turn, and I feel like they are wimping out. They are asking the right questions, but when they get the same weak answers they aren't taking the next step. Flex that power!
Fs all across the board. The Democrats were elected to stop the war in Iraq and to get our troops home. They have failed that promise. I am utterly disappointed and disgusted at their actions. They are no better than the GOP.
Grading the Democrats when Bush has veto power is like trying to grade a student when the teacher rewrites all their papers. Although if we are grading on a curve, they should get an "A" just for showing up.
C+. Expected reforms watered down.
For now, the Democrats get an F.

I give them a “B+”. They haven’t screwed things up nearly as bad as I thought they would.
Do years of being anti-American, mean-spirited, and dim-witted make one ugly as well? That’s not an attractive group.

I would give them an A+. They have snookered Senator Kyl, our best and brightest, into destroying the GOP for a generation and insuring them of continued and even enhanced majorities in both houses of Congress. You just cannot do much better than they have done. I could not have come close to predicting such a momentous victory.

All I see in the national leadership is strutting their stuff rather than building a consensus and moving the country ahead. The fastest way out of Iraq is to jump in with both feet and get it over. That Karl Rove is just a genius. He engineered the dim takeover because he knew how badly they were going to screw things up which would cause a republican president to be elected 2008 and get in a new repub congress.
The dims are in real trouble in 2008. If their base is this pissed off in the epicenter of modern liberalism, SF, they are toast, unless they can get the minimum wage 20 bucks an hour.

Actually, sounds like she wants a pure democracy, not a tripartite republic.
