Murdered schoolgirl 'was put into kebab'

The owner of a fast food shop accused of murdering a 14-year-old schoolgirl joked that she had been chopped up and put into kebabs, a court heard today.
Iyad Albattikhi, 29, is accused of killing Charlene Downes after having sex with her.
The girl went missing in November 2003 in Blackpool after kissing her mother goodbye on a Saturday evening. No trace of her body has ever been found.
A missing persons inquiry began but police later launched a murder investigation after a witness claimed to have heard Albattikhi say that he had disposed of her body in his food.
Charlene was among a group of young girls who regularly went to a back alley in the town to have sex with older men who worked in nearby fast food shops, Tim Holroyde QC, prosecuting, told the jury at Preston Crown Court.
Charlene, who had a "chaotic" home life, was expelled from school and became a "familiar figure" hanging around the shops where she would sometimes get free food, the court heard.
A witness allegedly heard Albattikhi, owner of Funny Boyz fast food shop on Dickson Road, joking with others that Charlene had "gone into the kebabs".
"These people were talking about sex with white girls, and there was mention of having sex with Charlene," Mr Holroyde told the court.
"Albattikhi laughed and said she was kinky and she was very small - the plainest possible indication that he was lying to the police when he said he did not know her."
Albattikhi, a Jordanian national, is charged with murder and his co-accused, his business partner and landlord Mohammed Reveshi, 50, originally from Iran, is accused of helping to dispose of the body.
Both men deny the charges and have told police they never knew Charlene.
The trial continues.

Obviously, the term "unprotected sex" extends to sex with a Muslim.
The Koran says it is ok to treat infidels as if they are cattle. This fellow merely took the book at it word.
This bears a little further explanation. This wording makes it sound like the girls do this for fun.

Probably both. The poor thing looks so young. She looks like a kid who has put on her mother’s lipstick.

Maybe she was exchanging sex for food?
Do they have actual evidence that she is dead? Truthfully, I would be more worried that she has been hustled off into sex slavery in Eurabia unless they have some physical evidence to lead them to believe she was truly murdered.
Maybe the “joking” was intended to misdirect people into assuming she was dead rather than kidnapped.
From what I can get from reading the news stories, one witness testified that Charlene Downes had been murdered and the covert listening device recorded the alleged killers talking about the girl getting chopped up and put into the food.
Also, in the 1980s I read a book by Joseph Wambaugh titled “Echoes in the Darkness”
The true crime novel details the murder of Susan Reinert and the murders of her two children. While Reinert’s corpse was found, her two chidren were never located.
The perpetrators were convicted of murdering the mother AND the children.

just because some one who happens to be muslim maybe viciousley killed this poor girl doesn’t mean it was an act of islam does it now? if it were any other religion e.g(christianity) the tabloids wouldn’t read “christian cannibalism” would it? this is wat i mean about stereotypes!! i show much sympathy for that unfortunate little girl but c’mon why does it have to be all about the religion but not the person themselves!
why is it islamic canibalism when its only a couple of sick men who comitted this terrible crime! much sympathy for the girls family but why accuse the whole religion for something a stupid person has done. i rest my case!
The girls do it for food. It’s down further in the article. The poor child. I bet there was no father present in the home, mum was on the dole and didn’t offer any suopervision or guidance to the child.
