Rare, yes. But I’m getting used to common sense from Stossel. He’s a breath of fresh air at the garbage dump that is ABC.

Of course this is by John Stossel, who is ABC’s resident right-winger. The other 99.7% of their employees continue to spout the gun grabbing mantra.
I would love to see a breakdown on where gun crime is. I’ll bet it is manly in big cities with gun control laws.

No, they actually aired a piece on this on 20/20 last night. Stossel is a conservative libertarian.
Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.
That’s great. More fair and balanced than Fox claims to be, I’d say.
But basically its all 'big& cities' with Dem mayors, they vote 'Blue' and they have high illegal populations. (Detroit and Atlanta might be an exception as to the illegala). Heck just look at New Orleans. They have the National Guard patrolling the streets now.
'Gun crime' seems to follow Dem Mayors like day follows night. (NYC included - Bloomie is a RAT) 'Gun crime' also rises proportional to the illegal population of a city.
In my neck of the woods in IL that's a given: Chicago, Cicero, Aurora, Joliet, Rockford - as the illegals increased so did 'gun crime'. Even in once 'Waspish' Elmhurst IL, the Mexican gang bangers are making inroads. About once a month now, there's something about a gang shooting, or 'shots exchanged' with the cops.
So Dubya's 'Family Values' my patoot, the young scum are all in gangs.

The NY Times had a story about kids misusing their laptops and the schools deciding to discontinue the program. The photo showed kids fooling around with a computer at lunchtime, and pasted on the laptop was a sticker saying “Gun Control Means Using Both Hands.”
The Virginia laws would have permitted carry at Tech. It was the college’s “no guns” policy that created the right environment for this massacre.
