I never cared for Don Imus but I am backing him totally on this one. I hope that he wins.
Not only that- but let’s remember it was the lunatics at Media Matters that narc’d on Imus in the first place- it was one of their guys who started calling Rutgers, Sharpton etc...
Otherwise, this would NEVER have received attention...

The guests on Imus show were well aware of his methods. His routine guests were from NBC and the politcal world. Imus never hid from the public or his employers what he was doing. Imus was supported by the left as long as he was of political value. He is what he is. The Democrats are weak and spineless. They cultivated this nitwit. Enjoy him.

Actually, he's suing for triple damages. There's four years left on his five year contract. Four at ten mil a year, times three.
CBS will cash out his remaining contract. It's a bargain for them, they'll save $80 mil.
I think you are right that if that is correct CBS is partly to blame and will pay.
I listened to Imus on and off for more than 20 years. I **never** heard him beeped or silenced...and he’s said lots worse things than the phrase that got him fired.
Rosie is much worse than Imus.
