Does Al Gore have nothing better to do than butt into other countries' politics? In his grand bid to save the planet, he's damaging real nations and undercutting U.S. ties. He's worse than the Ugly American.
Gore flew over to Canada last week and loudly blasted the Canadian government for its rejection of the Kyoto Treaty as "a complete and total fraud."
Speaking at a Toronto screening of his movie "An Inconvenient Truth," he announced that the Canadian government's new, more realistic plan to reduce greenhouse gases "is designed to mislead the Canadian people."
Not only did he offer an opinion of global warming, he offered an opinion about the Canadian government, too -- as if his Oscar for his error-filled documentary had gone to his head and he suddenly confused himself with the ruler of the world.

After Gore lost the Presidential election, he went off the deep end and lost it. He truly believes that he should be King and can’t handle rejection.

Wish I had kept the cartoon after the 2000 elections, an aged Al in an old folks home with ballots all around screaming, “Count ‘em again”.

And Laurie David was quoted as begging him to "adopt" her, because he's a father-figure to her. I don't know if she was joking, but these Enviros are just plain weird.

And they say the world hates us because of Bush! Actually when a lefty politician tries telling the world what to do by pushing phony anti progress, anti capitalist nonsense then the rest of the world will no doubt tolerate American imperialism.

You know, the basic illiteracy of the “press” continues to astound me. The Ugly American” was a novel about a Peace Corps volunteer who made a difference and was selfless, dedicated and Unfortunately for him, physically unattractive—”ugly”.
Would that there could be more like him.
I detest all journalists as lazy, lying, buffoons, not fit for consumption.
Rats collecting paychecks while ostensibly working in the “private sector”.
Al Gore is the Buffoon in Chief and will be remembered with stinging ridicule in whatever history there remains to write before the end.

The Ugly American was a novel about a Peace Corps volunteer who made a difference and was selfless, dedicated and Unfortunately for him, physically unattractiveugly.I'm not certain that's correct. "The Ugly American" was published in 1958 and the Peace Corps was initiated by JFK in 1961.

There are two types of anti-US people in places like New Zealand. A slight majority of them are leftists no doubt and is against American founding principles. Since American founding ideas are close relatives to contemporary American conservatives, they hate the US. The other type basically hates Americans whoever left or right. Dare I say, if one day the US turns pacifist Noam Chomsky type, these people will switch conservative overnight because it will be the flipping position of US sentiments.
