Of course all of the workers around the world that work with molten metal were shocked to find out that it is impossible to make metal melt.
Her obvious response will be that her remarks were taken out of context!
If we keep up the criticism long enough maybe the rest of the country might have to reconsider a few inane conspiracy fheories.
The steel doesn’t have to be melted to cause a major structural failure. A little expansion in area while adjoining areas are not expanding, or a little bending, is enough to do the trick in a structure supporting a huge load of concrete and relying on very precise engineering.
There was some teens last week here in mid-tn that burnt

I think her response will be that she didn’t say that steel could not be melted, but that the fire at WTC7 was not hot enough to melt the steel. That is, in fact, true. But steel looses most of its strength at a much lower temp. I don’t have it in front of me and am too lazy to look it up, but it’s something like 600 degrees. Anyway, once the steel looses its strength, a collapse is not far behind.

And we were able to make some changes in the rebuilt design that improved it a bit. Except for the fact that the insurance didn’t pay enough to cover all the costs, the fire wasn’t that bad a thing.
