Leak May Spring Hot Water For TMZ's Levin, Basinger
LOS ANGELES, Calif.(April 20, 2007) -- Alec Baldwin's attorneys filed paperwork in Los Angeles Superior Court this morning asking a judge to hold a hearing to uncover the source of a leaked voicemail message the actor left his daughter Ireland.

On Thursday, TMZ.com posted a two minute clip on their Web site where Baldwin was heard berating his daughter for not accepting a scheduled telephone call. On the tape, in addition to being heard in a distressed tone over his daughter not answering, he refers to the 11-year-old as a "rude, thoughtless, little pig."

I think both Alec and Kim need serious counseloring Alec need some anger managerment classes and Kim need parenting classes I THINK DOUG

Hard for Alec to claim an expectation of privacy when leaving a recorded message. Perhaps he can get Kim on violating the judge’s order, assuming he can proive she was the leaker, but TMZ should be in the clear on this. At best Alec can hope to take Kim down with him but if the recording is genuine, he’s toast as far as custody goes.
I wonder how he is going to make a case of wrong doing for Bassinger sharing sa recording that was hers by way of it being left on her machine?
The recording is Kim’s property. Baldwin knowingly left it on her answering machine.
I’m going to vote for the Democrat that Alec Baldwin supports because he’s obviously a thoughtful, caring parent.
