Okay..I may be crazy...but if Rush is trying to WARN us..when he says stuff like Hillary has an 80% chance of winning in 2008..fine.

However, I remember he and Laura Ingraham and others saying really negative stuff about the GOP and talking up the dems chances before last November..and it seemed like a prophecy fulfilled.

I don’t want to listen to that crapola.

I saw the headline on a thread earlier today that said that Richard Land..head honcho of the Southern Baptists (I think)...said he would vote for Hillary Clinton before he would vote for Rudy!

Boy..now THAT is gonna help...and then Rush’s proclamation today...and I gotta think that they may be setting her up FOR a win.

jeeez louise...this country is crazy right now. The 2008 election is causing some BAD things...like the Dems’ Iraq surrender plan for one!

Sorry..just had to rant!

I turned to Dennis Prager....well..now it will be Michael Medved.

I think I have a pretty good metabolism, although I know it's slowed down a LOT over the past 10 years! I'm almost 49 and I probably eat about 2,500 to 3,000 calories a day.

When I was under 30, it didn't matter how much I ate, I could burn off everything! I probably averaged 4,000 calories a day. I weighed about 185ish. Now I weigh about 172-73. I know muscle will burn more than fat, so it's good to have muscle to help keep your weight down.

I always laugh when people say they don't want to lift weights because they're afraid they'll get too big. That doesn't even happen to some people that are trying to "get big".

I agree that he was not focused today. His statement about Hillary Clinton 80% chance of winning the Presidency contradicts what he has been rightly telling us all along that she has little chances of becoming President.

Maybe this was mentioned but Mrs. Buckley passed away. Rush loves Bill like a second father so he may be sad.

I am just completely frustrated with everything political right now.

I agree with everything that you said. Well, atleast look on the bright side, so far, nothing's really changed. There isn't anything happening or NOT happening now that was happening or NOT happening before the last election.

Anybody notice Rush’s voice today? Today it seemed to be more like it was just before he announced that he was deaf. Maybe he’s just having a bad day with his hearing problem that he suffers from.

...so he starts saying really stupid stuff like 80% chance of Hillary Clinton being elected President.

From your keyboard to God's eyes! It did really startle me since I've taken some comfort from Rush's previous statements that she'd be hard to elect. Of course, he was absolutely positive she couldn't be elected senator, either.

What caused your blood pressure to go up and for the first time ever? The quick gain of 10 pounds?

The guy who is teaching me about weightraining and getting rid of my fat said something similar to what Rush was saying. He is a competing body builder and has been doing personal training for may years. He also works for the FDA so he has a bit of an inside road to health knowledge.

If you read the transcript (http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_041607/content/01125114.guest.html)

you’ll see that Rush was talking about her chances of winning if the Clinton war machine continues as it has with no coordinated counterattack from Republicans. His point is that the Clinton machine is Stalinist and is as strong as ever and that Republicans are sleeping at the wheel falling into the trap of believing that she is disoriented and that the machine is breaking down.

It is not. 80% of the news stories you hear out there that attack any candidate that is not Mrs. Bill Clinton were probably launched by the Clinton war machine. If you view it that way, you better understand what Rush was saying.

My concern is this: a year ago I remember a caller asking him about this thing he’d heard about called the “Fairness Doctrine.” Rush (and Medved to another caller on the same subject) both scoffed at the idea.

It sounds like Rush is now seriously concerned about the Fairness Doctrine.

If something like this is allowed to pass, effectively enabling the Clinton war machine to silence all dissenting opinions, I don’t know what could possibly stop a revolution targeted against these neo-Stalinists and the media in this country. We will be the USSA at that point.
